For Beau and Ann-Jeanette Tindale, harness racing is both a profession and a way of life.

The husband-and-wife have been based at Berringa, about 40km outside of Ballarat, for the past three or so years and are building an exciting career in the sport they love.

As an official training partnership, the Tindales have registered over 80 winners but have many more from when Beau prepared the team in his own name.

And with son Cohen also showing a strong interest in harness racing and starring on the pony trots circuit, the future looks bright for the family of three.

“For us, our highlight of the week is going to the races and Cohen's football. We love Cohen's football,” AJ said.

“But it's a family thing. Cohen loves it as well.

“We all enjoy it and we put a lot of hard work into our horses and when you get the rewards of a win we really appreciate it and celebrate it.

“It's our life. It's our whole life.”

This week, Tim O’Connor made the trip to Berringa to tour the Tindale training facility and spoke with Beau and AJ for a special feature at thetrots.com.au. You can watch the video below.
