Zac Phillips will attempt to break a Victorian driving drought by returning the Australasian Young Drivers' Championship to the Navy Blue.

Not since Ellen Tormey claimed the crown in the 2012 championship in Western Australia has a Victorian walked away with the title, with Ellen breaking a previous nine-year drought since Michael Bellman's 2002 win.

To reign supreme in this year's series, which takes place in New Zealand from December 7 to 13, Phillips will have to overcome Australasia's elite.

Also fronting for the series are Matt Elkins (Qld), Cameron Hart (NSW), Conor Crook (Tas), Brodie Webster (SA), Corey Peterson (WA), Sarah O’Reilly (NZ) Benjamin Butcher (North Island, NZ), John Morrison (South Island, NZ) and defending champion Sheree Tomlinson (NZ).
