Yambukian (3) is racing super and finally gets a good barrier where he is likely to find the fence. If he finds the fence early, he will be hard to beat.

Roadmaster (4) was fantastic first-up when winning a heat of this event. He is likely to only improve from his eye-catching performance. He has great gate speed and a 39 per cent chance of leading.  Regardless of whether he leads or not, his high speed will make him powerful late.

RACE 4 - ALDEBARAN VERA 10

Aldebaran Vera (10) is in career best form, and she is full of confidence. It’s a tough field, with Rockinwithattitude (11) in the race. However, if Aldebaran Vera can stay in front of Rockinwithattitude she may be able to hold her off late.

RACE 5 - HESALLMUSCLE 8

Hesallmuscle (8) looks to be a star of the future. His own sectional performance in his Great Southern Star heat (four starts back) is at least one second faster than the recent best of the rest of this field. He has an awkward barrier and may have to go back to get off the fence, but he looks hard to beat.

RACE 6 - ROCKNROLL WALLA 11

This is a very even and competitive field and looks to be a great opportunity to find some value. Rocknroll Walla (11) is full of confidence and racing well sectionally. He will need to make his own luck from barrier 11 but seems to race well that way.

RACE 7 – ALOT LIKE LOUIE 8

Alot Like Louie (8) had to do it tough last start and fought on well to finish third behind Ourmatemenko. His best recent sectional times are 1.6 seconds faster than the next best runner in this field Dukes Choice, who has an awkward barrier (12).

RACE 8 – BAY OF BISCAY 8

Bay Of Biscay (8) is a star three-year-old. He is first-up after winning the three-year-old Nutrien Final in April this year. An awkward barrier, but he is likely to be too good for this field.

RACE 9 - CARRAMAR OLAM 3

With the early scratchings, Carramar Olam (3) now comes out of barrier one. He may get crossed early but he is a great swooper who can be saved for one run after saving ground racing on the fence.
