Spicy result as Jodi’s pacer rewards big TAB punter

Spicy Major’s front-running success at Bendigo was enjoyable viewing for one five-figure TAB customer early last week.

The punter unleashed a $20,000 wager at $1.70 on the Jodi Quinlan-trained three-year-old before his 2m victory in Tuesday night’s Rochester Thanks All The Volunteers Vicbred Pace.

The bet proved one of the big plays on Victorian harness racing last week, with all of TAB’s big hits and misses listed below.
