Like his seminal sparring partner Bill Hutchison, legendary bookmaker and leviathan punter ‘Tara’ Tom Hogan has worn many hats across his five-decade involvement in Australian harness racing.
From fearless bettor to brilliant bookie Hogan – along with lifelong partner Sue Murray – has also repaid the industry which has been so kind to him by becoming one of this nation’s most prolific owners.
Above all, however, Hogan is a raucous raconteur.
