TrotStars unleashed for Night 2 of the Summer of Glory

TrotStars has launched for Night 2 of the TAB Summer of Glory, giving entrants a chance to build on a sparkling Night 1, redeem themselves if it went awry or kick-start their campaign.

A huge night’s racing is on the cards at Tabcorp Park Melton, headlined by the Downbytheseaside Victoria Derby and Pryde’s EasiFeed Victoria Oaks, but also featuring a star-studded DNR Logistics V L Dullard Trotters Cup, the Casey Classic and the Alabar 4YO Bonanza.

And throw into the mix the Mercury80, the culmination of a thrilling 1200-metre race series for big cash bonuses, and it’s set to be a night to remember.

All six of those races form the basis of Night 2 of TrotStars, with entrants to choose five horses to the value of 100 TrotCoins, hoping to amass as much prizemoney as possible.

On night one John Wilkinson amassed almost a perfect score, with his stable winning $92,280, only $7200 shy of the best possible result. To get that your team would have needed to feature A Gs White Socks, Dance Craze, Line Up, Soho Gloria Jane and one of Virgil, Jenden Strike or Hesty.

As a result of his win, John snaps up a $250 Coles-Myer voucher, a prize which is also up for grabs to the top performer on nights two (January 25) and three (February 1) of TrotStars.

The overall winner receives a $1000 travel voucher, with John’s biggest threats at this stage being Brent Taylor ($85,320), Wayne Robertson ($83,580), Brendan Bryce ($82,530), Matthew Peden ($81,660) and Braden Howlett ($80,580).
