APG backs the Vicbred Super Series to champion Vic-bred excellence

Australian Pacing Gold (APG) is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2025 Vicbred Super Series, one of Victoria’s premier harness racing showcases, to be held across two thrilling nights of racing at Melton Entertainment Park.

The age finals for 2YO and 3YO fillies and colts & geldings will be staged on Saturday 22 November, followed by the 4YO mares and entires & geldings finals on Saturday 29 November 2025.

Supporting Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) and the industry through sponsorship of the series underscores APG’s ongoing commitment to reinvest in the sport, strengthen industry sustainability, and celebrate Victoria’s elite futurity racing talent.

This partnership further highlights our dedication to nurturing the pathway for emerging champions and ensuring the continued success of Australian-bred standardbreds on the national stage.

APG commends HRV’s decision to stage the Vicbred Super Series finals across two exciting nights, creating greater exposure for participants and providing fans, owners, and breeders with more opportunities to celebrate the best of Victorian harness racing.

We look forward to being trackside across both weekends, sharing in the achievements, wins, and unforgettable moments with the entire harness racing community as we honour the horses, connections, and their stories.

Robert Marshall, Chairman, Australian Pacing Gold:

“The Vicbred Super Series continues to play an instrumental role in uncovering the next generation of superstars, horses that will go on to shape the future of Australian harness racing. APG is proud to stand alongside HRV in supporting that journey.

“Our mission has always been about giving back to the sport that gives us so much. Sponsoring the Vicbred Super Series allows us to directly reinvest in the breeders, owners, and trainers who make harness racing such an exciting and enduring part of Australia’s sporting landscape.

“This partnership reflects our shared belief in developing home-grown talent and ensuring that opportunities for Victorian-bred horses remain at the forefront of the industry.”

Matt Isaacs, Chief Executive Officer, Harness Racing Victoria:

“The Vicbred Super Series is a terrific celebration of the best of Victorian harness racing, and it’s fantastic to have a key partner, Australian Pacing Gold, supporting our next generation of stars.

“Following our earlier announcement of $2.75 million in Vicbred Vouchers, which will include each Vicbred Super Series heat, semi-final and final winner securing a $5000 voucher, breeding and ownership is gathering momentum in Victoria, and we look forward to celebrating that with APG at the coming November series.”
