Defending champion James Herbertson will be joined by fellow Victorian reinsman Mark Pitt as the pair prepare to represent Victoria in the 2026 Australian Drivers Championship.
The championship will be held at Globe Derby Park in South Australia on Saturday night, October 3, with the nation’s leading drivers set to go head-to-head.
Herbertson returns as the defending champion after claiming his second Australian Drivers Championship in Hobart last year.
The then 25-year-old produced a strong performance across six heats to finish on top of the standings with 61 points, recording two wins and two placings to secure the title.
He will be looking to become a three-time champion when he lines up in Adelaide.
“It’s always a good night, whether it’s in Tassie or Adelaide,” Herbertson said.
“It’s always high-pressure racing with the best from around the country.”
Pitt will compete in the Australian Drivers Championship for the first time and said he was proud to have been selected to represent Victoria.
“It’s something special. It’s a privilege to be representing Victoria,” Pitt said.
The championship will bring together leading drivers from across Australia for a night of racing at Globe Derby Park.
