OVERVIEW: KEAYANG SANTIAGO (4) is progressing nicely through the grades and should settle in a prominent position and looks well placed over the sprint trip to fight out the finish. ALTA BAYAMO (6) is a speedy pacer that has good gate speed and can give a big sight throughout. Definite chance. NETRA (12) struck trouble last start and should be at peak fitness for this. Her first two runs back were very encouraging and despite the challenging draw is one of the main chances. FLYING SPARKS (5) good effort last start and is working up to a win. Can figure in the finish. METRO MEMORY (8) racing very well but faces an awkward draw and will need some luck over the short course. RANDOM MAHONEY (11) in good form but faces slightly stronger opposition and can make his presence felt again. Both SANDSTING (7) and BELLA LOUISE (9) are lightly raced and have ability and can’t be dismissed.

OVERVIEW: STRAPPING RED (9) has been racing very well and gets a nice trailing draw to be well poised throughout and should be fighting out the finish. GOLDEN SHOOZ (10) talented filly that fought on hard last start and is better suited here. One of the main chances. ROCKIN GEMMA (2) returns from NSW and joins the astute Michelle Phillips stable. Drawn well and has gate speed. Trialling well and expect a big showing fresh. Definite chance. FERRIGNO (1) is a fast beginner that races best with a sit and should be well placed throughout to receive every chance. MY UNCLE STAN (8) gets an ideal draw and most likely will settle either behind the leader or three back the pegs. He will be savaging the line late. TELEMACHUS (4) was working up to a win but hasn’t raced for one month and was scratched in between.  Watch with interest. Both CLEAR LEFT (3) and JACCKA CONNOR (5) are never far away and are amongst the place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: PETRACCA (9) suffered defeat last start when second up after a starting a short price favourite. Strips fitter here and gets a nice trailing draw. Should prove hard to hold out.  TWISTING BY (2) is a highly talented pacer with a good draw. Excellent win last start and looks a major threat. PLAINS IN HEAVEN (5) will find this easier than recent starts and was in a purple patch of form prior. Can strike back here. CLYMENUS (1) drawn to get an ideal trip from the pole position and will get every chance. DHAULAGIRI (6) racing with great zest and despite the wide draw can run well again. ROADMASTER (7) is another horse that is in very good form but the draw isn’t too kind. Just needs some luck from the wide draw. LITTLE LOUIE (4) good effort last start from a tricky draw and gets a slightly better draw here. Going better than his figure form reads and don’t dismiss. Both CAPTAIN BELLASARIO (8) and ROARFORROSCOE (3) resume and have good ability and might run well fresh.

OVERVIEW: EARL OF PEMBROKE (8) is working back into good form and showed plenty of dash to win last start. Faces a second row draw here but looked very sharp when winning last start. Expect a big showing. HOT DEAL (9) racing well and battled on very strongly last start. Gets a nice trailing draw and should prove hard to hold out. Stable mate MAXY WANTS TO PLAY (7) is also racing in very strong form and can fight out the finish. GUNFORHIRE (2) progressive horse that is racing very well. Drawn nicely and is one of the main winning chances. ROSBERG (1) drawn well and will enjoy a good trip and get every chance. ARNIES ARMY (4) KIA ORA BEAUTY (6) DEUCE COUPE (5) and JILLBY SELLWOOD (3) all have ability and can’t be dismissed as place and first four chances.

OVERVIEW: SEBASTIANS WAITING (1) good effort last start when first up after leading. Drawn well and strips fitter and expect a big showing again. CALDERS REVENGE (4) continues to progress and is working up to a win and can figure in the finish. GOLDEN SKIES (8) did things wrong last start and might be suited from the second row draw and can show improvement. ALDEBARAN BRIANNA (2) IN HIGH PLACES (5) KYVALLEY JOYRIDE (6) MILLY METER (3) and DESERT ROYALE (7) have been struggling for consistency and good figure form. They all strip fitter and have claims in a race that lacks depth of good form.

OVERVIEW: IMPERIAL COMMAND (6) is a highly talented pacer racing with excellent form and does have good gate speed and expect a big showing. Hard to beat. DICHOTOMY (7) did things wrong last start and will find this an easier assignment than recent starts. Expect a big showing. MORE WANTED (5) speedy trotter resuming from a freshen up. Drawn to be prominent and can run well fresh and should be in this for a long way. MITCHELL WRAP (4) has plenty of ability and racing very well. Always a threat and expect him to be running on strongly. GEE CEE CALDER (1) DISTANT SUN (2) and I DREAM OF MILLIE (3) have favourable draws and will receive every chance.

OVERVIEW: EL RESAMO (6) showed his customary early speed to lead when first up last start and proved too good for his opposition. Fitter and looks hard to beat again. TICKTOK (7) seasoned mare that can mix her form but if she produces her best is always a threat. SAM NIEN (5) 3yo with plenty of talent that disappointed last start having over raced. Can bounce back here and is one of the chances.  ALDEBARAN BROOKE (4) speedy mare that can utilise her gate speed to race handy. Can run well. ROCKY VALLEY (3) is racing well and continues to progress and must be respected. LITTLE YANKEE (2) capable of better and can’t be ignored. NORDIC REIGN (1) resumes here, has ability and might run well fresh.
