OVERVIEW: ESTHERS BEST (5) is a well-bred Bettors Delight-sired first starter. She has produced a number of impressive trials at Riverina. Two trials ago, she won by 23.4 metres in a mile rate of 1:56.8. She followed that with a quiet trial last week, where she was saved for one run before flashing home. She looks a promising type. HEAVENLY FLYER (3) has the best sectional times in this event on exposed form. She has been racing consistently, placing at her past five starts. IM HELLS BELLE (9) has made mistakes in both of her career starts. Prior to that, she won a Shepparton trial. Barrier nine should suit, giving her time and space to settle early. OHSO HANDSOME (2) had his only career start last year as a two-year-old and performed well in a solid field at Ballarat. He resumes here and, from an ideal barrier, is one to watch. Also noting LAMBRO BUOY (4), who makes his first appearance for new trainer Alex Ashwood.

| 8 | 1248s9 | ALDEBARAN SUSANNE Dr: Chris Alford | Alison Alford | Chris Alford | 5 | $4.0 | |||
OVERVIEW: QUEEN KIZEN (3) is a smart, progressive mare. She finished second in the Warragul Trotters Cup three starts ago and has followed that up with two placings in competitive races. She looks well placed here. MAJESTIC TOOTH (1) has been racing better than her form suggests. She has the best sectional times in this field and the gate speed to either hold the lead or take a trail. From barrier one, she looks well placed. ALDEBARAN SUSANNE (8) returns to Victoria with Alison Alford after a brief campaign in New South Wales, where her manners were not at their best. She trialled well recently at Melton and, if she trots throughout, is a major threat. OFF YOUR FACESKI (4) is a nice horse who has been racing well, but he will need some luck from barrier four.

| 8 | 4s0657 | IM MISS ROYALTY Dr: Brent White | Bill White | Brent White (C) | 6 | $101 | |||
OVERVIEW: I AM HARRO (5) appeared a little below his best last start. However, his previous runs were strong, particularly his performance three starts ago when he dazzled with a brilliant finishing burst to score impressively. With the right run, he is a genuine winning chance. ALWAYS SKYE HIGH (7) and JESSICAS STORY (6) come into this race with similar form lines, having both won their past two starts in comparable times. They both face awkward barriers here. LITTLE TEDEY (1) has the ace barrier to take advantage of with his good gate speed and should be able to map favourably.

| 8 | 904042 | FINAL BOW Dr: James Herbertson | Ross Graham | James Herbertson | 1 | $2.2 | |||
OVERVIEW: With the barrier draw, this looks a very even contest. FINAL BOW (8) is a 33-time winner who has a great association with driver James Herbertson. She was a narrow second last start after leading and being run down late. As the only runner on the back row, she has the option to stay on the fence or ease off and look for clear running. HOME AND DRY (6) is first up after a 42-day break. The freshen-up may have done him the world of good, as he appeared a little below his best towards the end of his last campaign. At his best, he has the strongest sectional profile in this field. IVE AN IDEA (7) is a strong swooper who is likely to be saved for one run from barrier seven. ELLAVA PACER (2) is another NSW visitor from the Jake Stockton stable, which has a well-placed team on this card. She should be able to map favourably from barrier two.

OVERVIEW: The consistent and reliable GYM QUEEN (6) has gone close to breaking through for her maiden victory in recent starts. She has placed at her past seven outings and her manners are a major asset in a race where several rivals can be prone to making mistakes. JUST ME AND YOU (1) has plenty of ability, but his manners remain a concern. From six starts, he has completed the course just once, which came two starts ago at Maryborough. It was an eye-catching performance, as he did the work and was only narrowly beaten. If he trots throughout, he is a major winning chance, but he comes with plenty of risk. Similarly, SEBS GAL (4) has only trotted throughout on two occasions from her eight starts. However, when she does everything right, she has shown she has ability. She is another runner to take on trust. SAMBEZIA (3) is another smart trotter whose manners have been costly. Interestingly, the half hobbles go on here, which may help him trot more safely. KYVALLEY REEVA (5) is another genuine winning chance if she can trot throughout.

| 7 | 949779 | SABIHALIL Dr: Austin Mifsud | Julie Mifsud | Austin Mifsud | 6% | 7 | $9.0 |
OVERVIEW: MONEY TALKS (4) has been racing well recently, placing at four of his past five starts. He has the best sectional times in this field. The barrier is awkward, but he has the versatility to make his own luck. JOE LOU (6) has had mixed manners throughout his career, but his last-start performance was encouraging as he did everything right and hit the line strongly. Trainer Ross Graham and driver James Herbertson have an excellent strike rate together, and Herbertson takes the reins on him for the first time. SABIHALIL (7) drops back in class and should appreciate this company. He will need some luck from the barrier. NUCLEAR ATTITUDE (5) is a big horse who has been racing well and is near career-best form. If he can settle into a suitable position, he will be charging home late. Also respecting BET BET HOTSHOT (2), who has been racing consistently in recent starts.
BACK: MONEY TALKS (4) – 2 units (win)
OVERVIEW: ASMILEANDAWINX (2) produced a very good performance when second last start. She gave the talented Emma Stewart-trained SOME HIGH a real scare, getting within 1.1 metres after charging home late. She has the gate speed to settle prominently and looks well placed. SHAZZA LOVE (8) possesses a brilliant turn of foot and has the fastest last 800 metres in this field. She will be hoping not to get too far back on the fence, but if she is close enough turning for home, she has the speed to be a major factor. MISTER JIMARINGLE (10) has been racing well despite not having much luck in recent starts. He has the ability, but will need to overcome the wide draw and may have to cover extra ground. KALKADOON DREAMING (5) resumes for Jake Stockton after not racing since May at Wagga. He has a number of gear changes and may appreciate the change of scenery. He is one to watch.
