OVERVIEW: LISTEN TO THE HAND (5) is resuming since a sixth at Bendigo in August 2025 but he has been performing nicely at the Shepparton trials. He strikes a suitable assignment for his Mildura debut and must be respected. ROYAL ROCKSTAR (7) is awkwardly drawn on the inside of the second line but he is nearing his maiden success. He raced without cover throughout and battled on strongly for second behind Miss Nashville at his latest runner up performance. ALMIGHTY RUSH (6) tried to sustain a long run out three horses wide from the 700m when a game third at her debut. She is poorly drawn but she should have benefited from the experience of that performance and is worth thought. SWEET LUCY LOU (9) has had no luck whatsoever at her recent Mildura efforts and rates as a value hope. SANTA CASA LEVI (4) ran a better race in the front running role last week and is a chance of finding the lead again here.
