OVERVIEW: OUR MYSTERY BET (5) is a versatile pacer that is usually competitive against this class. He has been placed in four of his past five starts and he overcame a tough trip when he scored against similar grade at Shepparton back in May. TOMMYS LOOKOUT (6) is racing in career best form and looms as one of the leading chances. He settled midfield on the markers, was held up for a run at a vital stage and charged along the sprint lane when second behind Tex Goes Bang last outing. TOPHUT JOHNY (3) hasn’t produced his best form for some time but he is better drawn for this assignment and has the early speed to gain a prominent position so he gets his chance to improve. ARRAPS (8) tends to perform best when he is able to lead but he produced a good performance after racing on the outside of the leader at Kilmore last outing so he warrants consideration.
