OVERVIEW: SERG BLANCO NZ (5) was resuming since December when he led, rolled along at a genuine tempo and held off the challengers to win comfortably at Mildura last week. He will be fitter from that performance and is a strong winning chance again. CLYMENUS NZ (3) looms as the logical danger. He has been racing well at Metropolitan level and he showed terrific acceleration to win via the sprint lane at Kilmore last outing. TOUGH AINT ENOUGH (4) finished off well for second behind Letsgo Big Girl then followed with an unlucky fifth behind SERG BLANCO NZ (5), where he had no clear run at the finish. He is a versatile pacer and is worth a ticket each way. WHERES THE GOLD (6) led throughout from a wide draw at Bathurst two starts ago then settled in a rearward position and couldn’t work into the race at his Mildura debut. He is widely drawn again but might run into a place.
