2022 Gordon Rothacker Medal nominations open

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) is now calling for nominations for the Gordon Rothacker Medal.

Nominations are invited from country clubs, kindred bodies, industry participants and individuals. The selection panel will assess each nomination and base their decision on the following criteria:

  • Contribution to harness racing in Victoria and positions held in the industry
  • Achievements
  • Length of industry involvement
  • Voluntary or paid key positions within the industry
  • Demonstrated excellence within a chosen field
  • Significant personal achievement
  • Service as a role model or mentor
  • Integrity.

 

To nominate someone for consideration, please email their name along with a brief summary addressing the above criteria, to info@hrv.org.au by COB Friday January 31.

The date of Gordan Rothacker Medal night will be announced in the coming months. The announcement will be held in conjunction with several other awards presented annually by HRV.
