An in-depth road map to today's Shepparton meeting will be drawn on today's Talking Trots on Track, with trainers David Aiken (pictured) and Brad Aylett to dial in from 11am.

Aiken has prepared seven for today's eight-race card, the first for the North-East since region-based racing was introduced on Thursday, and will go runner-by-runner through his chances with hosts Jason Bonnington and Blake Redden on SENTrack.

Those runners include Electric Eye and first starter My Golden Eagle in the Marj & Ken Wadeson Memorial 2YO Pace, the first race on the program, which kicks off on Trots Vision at 12.52pm.

Aylett will then dial in to talk about exciting mare Bahroon, who's placed in her last five starts and will be favourite to produce a third career win when she contests the Easter Trotters Handicap, race two on today's Shepparton program at 1.23pm.

Blake and Bonners will then chat with gun reinsman Chris Alford, fresh from steering six winners at Cranbourne yesterday, before today's caller Lachie McIntosh dials in to give his best bets.

Young reinsman James Herbertson will then join the show for a 'Getting To Know' segment, and that's only the first hour of Talking Trots on Track.

After noon you can enjoy a deep dive review of racing at Tabcorp Park Melton, including successful trainer Geoff Webster, before Dylan Egerton-Green joins the show to review the WA Derby.
