Another $500 up for grabs this Wednesday with SEN Survivor

More than 600 people tackled SEN Survivor during last Wednesday’s FastTrack 1200 launch and round two of the competition is now live.

How does it work? It’s simple.

Log on to the SEN Survivor home page, sign up and select one horse from each of this Wednesday night’s races. If your tip finishes in the top two, you survive. Get one wrong and you’re out. Last person standing wins $500.

More than 70 nominations were received for Wednesday’s FastTrack races at Melton Park, prompting handicappers to split one division and create a sixth 1200m event on the card.

FastTrack 1200 is geared largely towards the lowly-graded horse and seeks to draw in new harness racing fans as well as provide opportunities for standardbreds outside the regular mile, middle-distance and staying trips that are routinely offered in this state.

You can watch all the coverage on Sky Racing and at TrotsVision.com.au, and listen to it via RSN927 and SENTrack.

SENTrack will provide extensive coverage of the races between 5pm-9pm, with Damian Watson, Tim O’Connor and Darren Carroll to provide tips and analysis on the night.

More money will be directed to breeders under a change to Vicbred first-win bonus allocations, which will take effect in Victoria from October 13.

Victorian hobby trainer Peter Wallis has broken a 28-year drought from the winner’s circle, preparing five-year-old gelding Orch (Lincoln Royal) to a victory at the Melton harness racing meeting on Friday night (Sept 26).
