Charlton top of the pops as country clubs celebrated at trots seminar

Charlton Harness Racing Club was lauded and the Pacing For Pink event celebrated when Trots Clubs Victoria held its awards during a two-day seminar.

The 2020-2021 Country Club Awards toasted high performing clubs and individuals as Trots Clubs Victoria reflected on plenty of highlights throughout a somewhat interrupted 2021 season.

Trots Clubs Victoria chief executive Carl Coady said the seminar at Moama’s Rich River Golf Club was a great few days and brought clubs together.

“We had a number of guest speakers from both HRV and external sources over the two days, including Sean Carroll, the Racing Integrity Commissioner,” Coady said.

“We had a fantastic turn out and it really shows the strength of the Victorian country clubs.”
