“Mind-boggling” The Lost Storm, star three-year-olds Major Delight and Captain Ravishing, and a champion-to-be in Ladies In Red headline a stunning TAB Breeders Crown finals night that has master racecaller Dan Mielicki champing at the bit.
He joined Josh Jenkins for his latest edition of Harnessed as the pair of trots devotees dug into Saturday night’s Tabcorp Park Melton card.
“It’s exciting Josh, there’s no doubt about that, and particularly when there are multiple highlights,” Mielicki said.
“It’s a compliment to the quality of horses we have got at the moment, particularly from four-year-olds and under.
“I don’t think it’s ever been healthier and better, we’ve got horses that are either a step away from champion status, like a Ladies In Red, and others who are emerging as stars and who knows beyond.”
