Echuca ready for Cup fun under Friday night lights

This Friday night Echuca will be a must-visit for trots fans with the 73rd staging of the Moama Bowling Club Echuca Pacing Cup.

Plans have been underway for some time now and are being finely-tuned to make it another memorable occasion, headlined by the Group 3 $35,000 Pacing Cup and the Group 3 $20,000 Arch Electrical Group Trotters Cup.

The Alabar Farms Trotters Handicap Cup and Tiffany Murray Memorial Pace, restricted to female drivers, will also ensure a frenetic pace on Frank Ryan Paceway.

The club’s beautiful lawned area, grandstand and upstairs viewing area are great spots to take in all the on-track action.

Nominations for the meeting have been pleasing but the club is also gearing to have the off-track action as hot as the on-track entertainment.

TAB and bookie Graham Adams will operate at the meeting, there will be a punters’ club, music, activities for children, a bar and cool refreshments.

Bistro-style dining and takeaway food will also ensure those hungry on the night will be well satisfied.

Entry costs $10 for adults, while children under 15 can enter for free. Gates open at 5.30pm.
