GOODFORM – Bronte’s best at Melton on Wednesday

There’s a nine-race day meeting coming up at Melton and Bronte Nieuwenburg has done the form.

R1 – 1.48pm – Renown Silverware 2yo Maiden Trot – 1720m

4 – Cartacalha

8 – Mister Devereaux

6 – Jilliby Bliss

9 – Kyvalley Rambler

R2 – 2.23pm – Beraldo Coffee Pace – 1720m

5 – Lambro Mach

9 – Tara Victory

2 – City Rockstar

3 – Mcwizard

Lambro Mach is a horse with a lot of promise, and I think we’re yet to see just how good he is. He has the best sectional times in this event and looked confident in a recent trial victory. If he can overcome his awkward barrier, he’s the one to beat.

BACK: 5 Lambro Mach – 2.5 Units (win)

R3 – 2.58pm – Vicbred Voucher 2yo Maiden Pace – 1720m

6 – Storm Vendetta

8 – Sahara Seakret

9 – Sizzle Oro

7 – Aruval

R4 – 3.33pm – Vicbred Voucher 2yo Maiden Pace – 1720m

9 – Broadway Obsession

4 – Le Gaston

7 – Thesting

2 – Sweet Lady Lou

Broadway Obsession comes into this race off a winning trial. She has a brilliant pedigree, being out of top mare Broadway Play and sired by Tall Dark Stranger. With Chris Svanosio as her trainer and driver, all signs point to her being a nice filly. She has a good barrier and should settle well to follow the early speed.

BACK: 9 Broadway Obsession – 2.5 Units (win)

R5 – 4.08pm – Swift Signs Pace – 1720m

7 – Final Bow

11 – Glenline

6 – Lorimermajor

2 – Muselet

It’s hard to look past the reliable mare Final Bow in these races. She’s always very competitive and right in the finish. She’ll need some luck, but James Herbertson is exactly the person on board who can make that happen.

BACK: 7 Final Bow – 2.5 Units (win)

R6 – 4.43pm – Dynamic Print Group Pace – 2240m

7 – Posterized

4 – Major Bert

9 – Yankee Gambler

3 – Fireside

Posterized was checked last start when he looked to be running on well, and this does look like an easier race for him. Prior to that he was a winner at Ballarat. He’ll need to make his own luck, but he still shapes as the one to beat.

BACK: 7 Posterized – 2.5 Units (win)

R7 – 5.18pm – 2construct Trot – 2240m

6 – Whats The Tea

1 – Louieville Lass

11 – Kyvalley Misty

5 – Allwatfunjingles

R8 – 5.50pm – Garrards Horse And Hound Pace – 1720m

7 – Too The Max

12 – Home And Dry

4 – Atomic Glory

1 – Tex Goes Bang

R9 – 6.23pm – Prydes Easifeed Pace – 2240m

11 – Quick Crunch

5 – Miss Piggy Wiggy

7 – Gozo Major

10 – Di Angelo
