Bronte Nieuwenburg has done the form for tonight’s meeting at Bendigo.
R1 – 6.13pm – J & A Mazzetti Painting Trot Final – 2150m
2 – Suzys Dream
8 – Montana Chevelle
13 – Frankythefrenchman
3 – Off Your Faceski
Although Suzys Dream isn’t known for her gate speed, she still has the ideal draw to use to her advantage here (she comes out of barrier one with the scratching). Her last two starts have been good, and she’s going to begin ahead of her biggest rival, Montana Chevelle.
BACK: 2 Suzys Dream – 2 units (place)
R2 – 6.42pm – APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (3yo Colts & Geldings) Silver Pace – 2150m
7 – Pick Up Elvis
1 – Nugget Rogers
8 – Ruff Nut
5 – Miki Sing
Nugget Rogers’ runs throughout the Vicbred Super Series have been better than they looked on paper. Last start he covered an extra 30 metres travelling wide in the semi and 23 metres in the heat. His personal times have been strong, and he’s been hitting the line well. He has the ace barrier here and looks a great place or each-way play.
BACK: 1 Nugget Rogers – 2 units (place)

2 – Believeitor Not
10 – Ginger Ella
13 – Poppy Lane
11 – Hilltop Star
Believeitor Not was good in her Vicbred Super Series heat when finishing second behind Pre-Eminent. We can rule out her run in the Semi, as she was checked out of the race. She looks well placed here from the barrier.
BACK: 2 Believeitor Not – 2 units (win)
R6 – 8.56pm – Oxley Feed Mill Veteran Drivers Trot – 2150m
6 – Third Eye
11 – Kyvalley Jetstream
4 – The Chook
1 – Abbie
What a fantastic race this is! The legends of our sport are getting onboard for this year’s brilliant edition of the Veteran Drivers Trot. I’m sticking with Geoff Webster and Third Eye. This smart trotter is racing in career-best form, and although he has a tricky barrier, I’ve been really impressed with where he’s at.
BACK: 6 Third Eye – 2 units (win)
R7 – 9.25pm – APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series 2yo Bronze Pace – 2150m
3 – Hellava Deal
7 – Romeo
8 – Covered In Gold
1 – Sumthin Else
Hellava Deal looked really smart with her debut victory last week at Mildura. This well-bred American Ideal filly raced tough in the breeze and was strong to the line. She’s likely to improve from that run, and she has a good barrier here to use to her advantage.
BACK: 3 Hellava Deal – 2 units (win)
R8 – 9.56pm – APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (3yo Colts & Geldings) Bronze Pace – 2150m
