Bronte Nieuwenburg has outlined her selections and suggested game plan for Wednesday's meeting at Bendigo.

R1 – 6.32pm – & A Mazzetti Painting Pace – 1650m

9 – Captain Pins Nz

5 – Dieing Art

11 – Pas Guarantee

3 – Clymenus

R2 – 7.00pm – Simonds Homes Bendigo Maiden Pace – 1650m

6 – Kyoretsu

4 – American Squared

8 – Midnight Alibi

9 – Dieing Fear

The Andy Gath-trained Kyoretsu has had two career starts, and in both of those runs he’s drawn the third horse on the second row, covering at least 24 extra metres each time. A trial winner earlier in March, he clearly has talent. This time he’s drawn the front row, which he can take advantage of, and he finds himself in a race where he looks well placed to break through for his maiden victory.

BACK: 6 Kyoretsu – 2 Units (win)

R3 – 7.32pm – Smartloans Bendigo Pace – 2150m

9 – Salsboy

10 – Tex Goes Bang

4 – Malava Miss

6 – Rocket Me

R4 – 8.00pm – Bendigo Ski Boat Centre Pace – 1650m

9 – Gotta Hav Me

6 – Mister Jimaringle

5 – Feel The Reign

4 – Shaq

Looking back through Gotta Hav Me’s recent form, she’s been racing standout performers like Sanchez, Scheming, Illavabubbles and Isthisjustfantasy. She’s a big Sweet Lou mare who’s likely to keep improving. While she can appear a bit inconsistent, I was impressed with the way she hit the line last start. This looks a great race for her and from barrier nine she should find a handy position and have options throughout.

BACK: 9 Gotta Hav Me – 2 Units (win)

R5 – 8.30pm – Huntly Lifestyle Estate By Lincoln Place Concession Drivers Pace – 2150m

6 – Budd Sidewinder

7 – With In Reason

9 – Martha Lavinia

3 – Epic Orion

R6 – 9.05pm – Nutrien Ag Solutions 0-2 Ltw Trot – 2150m

4 – Aardies Peak

6 – Ezra Kai

2 – Dreams Of Love

5 – Flyin Time

R7 – 9.32pm – Billee Legends Pace – 1650m

8 – My Little Bo

2 – I Of The Hurrikane

1 – Sir Sonny Maguire

9 – Beta Than Love

Sir Sonny Maguire is a gate-speed horse in career-best form, and he’s a great one to follow for My Little Bo, who is second-up tonight. It’s hard to line up her form against these runners, as she’s been racing in her age group until now. However, a good indicator of how she stacks up is her sectional times and she’s the standout best in this field. She’ll get a soft trip along the fence and will be one to watch late.

BACK: 8 My Little Bo – 2 Units (win)

R8 – 10.00pm – Angelique Club The Pearl (1st Heat) – 1650m

1 – Tivoli

2 – Soap And Bubbles

7 – Cheys Angel

3 – Foresight

Tivoli is a lightly raced, well-bred filly resuming here first-up. At her last start, she finished third in the Vicbred Platinum Homegrown Classic for two-year-old fillies, and she’s clearly got ability. She’s likely to land in front of or behind Soap And Bubbles, which are both great positions for her. She should impress first-up, but she’s also one to follow as she’ll only improve from the run.

BACK: 1 Tivoli – 2 Units (win)

R9 – 10.32pm – Northern Rivers Equine Vet Clinic & Llowalong Farms Trot – 1650m

8 – Against The Bridle

7 – Whats The Tea

3 – Shez Majestic

6 – Col Du Granon

Although Against The Bridle’s last-start performance doesn’t look great on paper, he did it tough and had to cover an extra 20 metres in the run. He can be his own worst enemy at the start of races, but being the only horse on the second line should give him the space he needs to settle early. If he behaves, he’s a strong winning chance.

BACK: 8 Against The Bridle – 2 Units (win)

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
