Harnessed: JJ celebrates female dominance in ID22

Josh Jenkins has celebrated the female dominance through the first half of the SENTrack Inter Dominion series in his latest vodcast offering, Harnessed.

In a show dedicated to the ID22 championships, Jenkins highlighted that all six pacing heat winners have been trained by women and expected them to have more success during Saturday night’s third round of qualifiers in Geelong.

“It truly is incredible what the girls are able to do in our sport,” he said.

“In a world full of sports attempting to bridge the gap between what the men get paid, what the men receive, the feats they achieve and the crowds that attend, our sport sees the girls compete on a completely level playing field and win. And, in fact, winning is an understatement. They dominate.

“It is our sport’s greatest marketing tool, and it is in full flight during our most prestigious and recognisable race series, the Inter Dominion.”

JJ also reviews night two of the Inter Dominion series at Shepparton and looks forward to what’s in store at Beckley Park in this week’s episode.
