Toby McKinnon will head-up a cross platform saturation of one of Victorian harness racing’s most celebrated events on Thursday.

Humbletonian day is the annual all-maiden meeting at Maryborough, with well over 100 horses set to chase the first win of their careers tomorrow.

McKinnon will kick-off the coverage from Maryborough at 11am with a TrotsLife special on SENTrack where he will speak to key participants ahead of the 12-race card.

He will then join Harness Breeders Victoria (HBV) secretary Brett Coffey shortly before the fifth race to co-host the broadcast at TrotsVision.com.au.

A range of interviews are planned, with Lachlan McIntosh to provide form comment and call the races.

Supported heavily by HBV, the afternoon comes with some outstanding earning opportunities for trainers, owners and breeders.

Among the special activations on Humbletonian day are:

* $750 cash bonus to each winning breeder, thanks to HRV and HBV

* $250 cash bonus to winning breeders on track, thanks to MHRC

* 10 per cent Vicbred Breeders Bonus on every 2YO and 3YO race

* All races are bottom-up ballot - preference for selection and draw given to horses with highest lifetime starts

* All Vicbred races with a $7000 First Win Bonus ($3,500 for 5YO+ or previous $3,500 restricted race bonus winners)

The day will also feature two races of the Australian Young Drivers Championships.

The first event at Maryborough is scheduled for 12.17pm, with the last of 12 to go at 6.51pm.
