A ten-part online education series hosted by Harness Breeders Victoria (HBV) will significantly boost breeder knowhow across a range of standardbred breeding subjects.

Presented by harness racing expert Paul Campbell of Campbell’s Comments, the innovative online webinars, titled Breed to Succeed, will be live and engaging with viewers encouraged to ask questions throughout.

“You have access to some of the smartest breeding minds in Australia and probably the world on these webinars and they’ll be giving free advice to viewers watching from the comfort of their home. Why wouldn’t you tune in?” Campbell said.

“This is a wonderful concept. I can’t wait to get these conversations going and I hope we get some great engagement and questions from the audience.

“It’s so important we make people aware of the importance of doing things properly in the breeding space.

“I’m thrilled that there has been great support from some sponsors, too. These initiatives should be supported.”

HBV members will have even more reason to jump online with several prizes and giveaways, including 10 bags of top-quality Barastoc feed for each episode.

“Harness Breeders Victoria is blessed to have a great range of sponsors, many of whom have become involved with what is going to be an informative and entertaining series.  Our members have every reason to get involved, and if you are not a member there is still time to join up to become eligible for some of the great prizes on offer,” HBV President Nick Hooper said.

Viewers will be encouraged to converse online via social media using the hashtag #BreedToSucceedVic, with more content available at HBV’s Twitter and Instagram channels.
