Loud and proud as Vic airwaves laud women in harness racing

The leading role women play in all facets of harness racing in Victoria was celebrated across the airwaves yesterday as part of International Women’s Day.

Participants, administrators and officials were among those enjoyed on metropolitan racing stations RSN 927 and SENTrack, reminding listeners of the sport’s proudly level playing field.

Among them was Kate Gath, fresh from piloting Catch A Wave to victory in Saturday night’s $1 million Garrards Miracle Mile.
