Maryborough issues last call for Redwood Rattler bookings

The Maryborough Harness Racing Club has put out one last call for bookings to help get the Redwood Rattler rolling on Sunday, October 30.

The club urgently needs more ticket sales to ensure the train service will run to and from the iconic Redwood Classic meeting on Sunday next week.

With the last voyage in 2019, the Redwood Rattler is a train service that takes racegoers to and from Maryborough’s all-trotting card, which includes the Group 1 Redwood Classic and Group 1 Victoria Trotters Derby.

With an atmosphere that is unmatched, the journey includes a return rail trip from Southern Cross Station to Maryborough, stopping at Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Ballarat along the way.

Included in your $130 ticket is the return rail fare, track entry, a two-course roast lunch, race book, stubby holder, $20 punter’s club ticket and spot in the draw for a $2000 gold nugget.

The club is urging people to book – using this link – before midnight this Sunday.
