Class mare Delight Me will stretch out in tomorrow’s Tabcorp Park trials ahead of an expected tilt at legs of the Mares Triple Crown, which headline Victoria’s May racing.
The Emma Stewart mare was third behind stablemates Tell Me Tales and Berisari during a Ballarat trial on April 13 but while those two are among nominees for this Saturday night’s Group 3 mares race, The Make Mine Cullen, tomorrow’s trial is Delight Me’s only planned racing commitment.
She’s scheduled in the sixth trial outside Match Point, Miss Graceland and The Charging Moa, with the latter two potentially having a final tune up for trainer Dean Braun before they’re geared towards The Make Mine Cullen.
The Stewart camp will send 13 around tomorrow at the trials, which will be streamed live at thetrots.com.au from about noon.
Chief among them is Poster Boy, winner of the 4YO Bonanza and Chariots Of Fire who hasn’t been seen since his third placing in the March 2 Miracle Mile, when his career earnings ballooned to $771,390.
He will step out in the 10th trial between Tee Cee Bee Macray and Magical Marn, with Golden Nugget winner Ana Malak completing the field of four. Both Poster Boy and Ana Malak are four-year-olds and potentially on a collision course for the Vicbred Super Series four-year-old boys final on July 8.
