Melton trials: Spankem, Pats Delight, Cruz Bromac

Star-studded fields will grace Tabcorp Park Melton tomorrow for Tuesday’s trials which set to be a great taster for the TAB Summer Of Glory.

Kicking off after the 11.45am elimination heats, the 14 trials include a host of Group 1 winners with trial six among those sure to draw attention.

TAB Inter Dominion finalists Cruz Bromac, Im Pats Delight and Spankem will both contest the 2040-metre hit-out, with the star New Zealand runners drawn against Emma Stewart’s talented pair Poster Boy and Tell Me Tales.

That pearler of a hit-out takes the limelight amid a host of talented young types, many of whom are the 15 entrants from Stewart’s stable.

That lot includes three-year-olds Centenario, Hurricane Harley, Hardhitter, Fourbigmen and Kualoa, likely on a path to the Downbytheseaside Victoria Derby.

And there are also four-year-olds Maraetai, Ride High and Konan among the fields of quality and quantity.
