New Zealand’s big meetings to be shown on TrotsVision

Victoria’s attack on New Zealand’s iconic week of harness racing can be followed on TrotsVision for free thanks to a partnership with NZ Trackside and Sky Racing.

Raceday coverage of the entire meetings from Addington this Tuesday and Friday will be simulcast at TrotsVision.com.au.

Tuesday’s racing will kick-off with the opening event at 10.08am AEDT before the feature of the afternoon, the NZ Trotting Cup, goes as race 11 at 3.46pm AEDT.

Jess Tubbs’ Better Eclipse ($12) is the sole Victorian chance in the Cup, which is headlined by defending champion Swayzee ($2.25).

Andy Gath’s Catch A Wave ($3.80) tackles the junior free-for-all at 11.32am AEDT before megastar squaregaiter Just Believe ($1.20) and fellow Vics Arcee Phoenix ($21), One Over All ($35) and Kyvalley Hotspur ($151) battle it out in the Dominion Trot at 1.14pm AEDT.

The likes of Just Believe, Better Eclipse and Catch A Wave are all expected to back up on Friday as Marg Lee’s Keayang Zahara looks to stretch her unbeaten streak to 12 in The Ascent slot race for three-year-old trotters.

Tubbs-trained Hes From Heaven will also tackle The Velocity for three-year-old pacers as part of the Show Day meeting.

It was a day to remember for Aaron Dunn. Not only did he go back-to-back from last year to this year in the Matthews Petroleum Hamilton Pacing Cup, he also trained the quinella, with Forty Love taking the honours and last year’s winner Dee Roe finishing second, driven by Jackie Barker.

While the ink is far from dry on the $500,000 Summer Of Glory bonus cheque, superstar mare Keayang Zahara is on track to provide her connections with a windfall after her effortless win in the Group 1 $100,000 Aldebaran Park Maori Mile.
