One big TAB punter suffered an agonising defeat at Mildura’s Tuesday meeting last week.
The customer placed a $5000 wager at $3.10 on My Line Of Fire to win the Tasco Petroleum Pace, and would have been about to count their cash when the Naomi Kerr-prepared gelding broke well clear in the straight.
But the horse’s sizeable lead wasn’t enough for victory, with the Andrew Vozlic-trained Majestic Sue charging late to get up in the shadows of the post.
