Metro stars, fantastic nights of Empire Stallions Vicbred Super Series racing and the forthcoming TAB Redwood Rattler were on the agenda when Cody Winnell joined John Thwaites for this week’s One Out One Back.
The RSN927 radio show delved into all things trots racing including the classic August 5 TAB Redwood Carnival, for which tickets are on sale now.
“All aboard the Redwood Rattler, we’ll have to put another couple of carriages on this year because last year it sold out and they put an extra carriage on,” Winnell told RSN listeners. “We’ve just started selling tickets. I’d get in early because places are limited.”
Thwaites said “it’s a great concept”.
“Maryborough and Central Victoria really get behind these two days,” he said. “It’s like a step back in time, people can actually get on the train and go to the races, how good is that.”
