Saturday Melton meeting transferred to Geelong

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) has transferred this Saturday night’s (September 4) scheduled race meeting from Tabcorp Park Melton to Geelong.

The decision follows the Premier’s announcement yesterday that the current lockdown conditions would be extended beyond September 2.

A 9pm to 5am curfew is currently in place for the Greater Melbourne area, which includes Melton.

Industry is reminded to not attend race or trial meetings if you are showing any symptoms of illness.

COVID-19 spreads fast. The only way to stop the spread is to get a test as soon as you have a runny nose, cough or fever because only a test can tell.

Help protect everyone by getting tested at the first sign of any symptom and isolating at home until you receive your negative result.
