SENTrack Inter Dominion 2022 launches with a bang

The 2022 Summer of Racing has begun, with the launch of the most prestigious harness racing series in Australasia. The SENTrack Inter Dominion (ID22) launched in Melbourne on Sunday to an audience of industry and media partners, and dignitaries.

Heats for the premier Inter Dominion series, which is being held in Victoria for the first time since 2018, begin in Ballarat on November 26. The event culminates in the SENTrack Inter Dominion Grand Final on December 10 at Tabcorp Park Melton

HRV Interim CEO Fiona Mellor welcomed the beginning of the Summer of Racing.

“We’re thrilled to launch the SENTrack Inter Dominion 2022, which headlines the beginning of the 2022/23 Summer of Racing season. Set to be Victorian harness racing’s biggest season in four years, the SENTrack Inter Dominion will not disappoint with both the heats and finals promising some great racing,” Mellor said.

ID22 heats will also be held in Shepparton November 29 and Geelong December 3.

The launch event was held at St Kilda’s West Beach Pavilion. Legendary race caller Dan Mielicki joined MC Jaimee Rogers on stage to talk through past Inter Dominion magical moments, while Fiona Mellor and HRV Chairman Dale Monteith also spoke at the event.
