Get ready for one of the most important nights on the trots’ calendar as Victoria celebrates those who thrived in an often challenging season.
From 7.30pm tonight the Gordon Rothacker Medal will be streamed free on Trots Vision at thetrots.com.au as a virtual event, where hosts Jason Bonnington and Nikkita Ross will oversee proceedings that will include the 2019-20 Horses of the Year and the awarding of a Gordon Rothacker Medal.
Part of 29 awards that will be announced amid interviews with some winners, the night is a want to give the industry the celebration it deserves despite COVID-19 lockdowns forcing the event’s postponement and move to an online setting.

And as part of the night’s festivities, viewers will be urged to jump on to social media and reply to Harness Racing Victoria’s Twitter or Facebook posts with a picture of themselves enjoying the occasion, ideally replete with ugg boots and bow ties.
The best entries will be rewarded with $500 vouchers courtesy of HRV’s great partners Menzclub and Catanach’s Jewellers.
