There’s not heaps of variation between the way I saw this race and the likely market however CHIEF SAFARI (4) has come up a lovely each-way price based off the last run. He’s no moral and the market has found the dangers but I think the top pick is worth a bet her.
SUGGESTED BET: $10 Each Way on Chief Safari (4) at $6 or better.
Race 2
Confidence:
CADENZA (11) has come up a fair price and it’s nearly worth a bet but in a tricky race we probably want just a bit better than what’s on offer. There doesn’t appear to be any other significant overs in the race.
SUGGESTED BET: $15 Win on Cadenza (11) at $5.50 or better.
Race 3
Confidence:
Given we haven’t seen KEAYANG TARA (4) via video, it’s hard to get too excited about this from a punting point of view, I did lean to FLYING JO (6) but happy to stay out.
SUGGESTED BET: Nothing significant.
Race 4
Confidence:
A VAPAR STORM (8) is a deserved favourite here and I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts shorter than the $1.80 currently on offer but in a race where not much would shock when it comes to the result, it’s probably better to let the Early Quaddie ride here and wait for more fruitful options.

JOBELLS IMAGE (6) is a deserved favourite here, I thought MAXINES DELIGHT (9) was the danger if she was near her best but there’s no juice in the market so to speak so we’re better to continue playing it patient as we get to the back end of the card.

Confidence:
STORM CLOUD (8) is the clear class here and with his key threat CASH LOVER (1) drawing the pole, this becomes an excellent betting race. Of the others ICICLE (5) is a clear third pick for mine.

Confidence:
COVER OF DARKNESS (2) is arguably the most interesting runner all night and it is a big class rise for him so we’re taking a punt but I’m willing to back him on ability. LOVE THE ACES (1) draws well but DOWNUNDER BARKERS (5) and OUR THUNDER BUDDY (7) also have pretty good credentials for our Quaddies.

Race 8
Confidence:
URBADBOY (6) gets back in to his right race and with TINA CALLS (5) the only viable threat, it’s another good trifecta race for those that like to play the exotics.

Early Quaddie
This looks a pretty nice Early Quaddie to be involved with given there might be some value in the first couple of legs but we also don’t have to play too wide. At the back end their looks two key hopes in the third leg and the last leg will hopefully see us home one out with A Vapar Storm (8).
