Race 1

Confidence:

ALFS ODYSSEY (3) is a former Western Australian who has been racing in much better races recently at Gloucester Park and the winners of those races like Balcatherine amongst others, have all been placed in black type races recently. Surely on that evidence he just wins a race like this. FRAGMENTAL (8), WOODY NIGHTSHADE (7) and SHE CAN ROCK (9) can all get in the finish.

SUGGESTED BET: ALFS ODYSSEY (3) to win & Flexi Trifecta: 3 / 7, 8, 9 / 7, 8, 9 ($20 gets 333.33%)

Race 2

Confidence:

MISTA PUMBLECHOOK (9) disappointed last time so needs to improve but this is a step back in class and he was impressive three and two runs back. NO EMOTION (1) is the roughie chance on the card. From the pole he’ll be close after good runs three back and earlier in the week, forget two starts ago.

SUGGESTED BET: NO EMOTION (1) Each-Way.

Race 3

Confidence:

MISSBLISSFULLBEACH (2) has been down the field in all six starts to date been coming north to the Sunraysia she finds her easiest task to date and you’d think she’d be very close. OLLIES MOLLY (4) and PROMISE ME HEAVEN (9) were both unlucky earlier in the week whilst SHADY JESS (3) rounds the key chances.

SUGGESTED BET: Nothing significant

Race 4

Confidence:

This looks to be a race where former interstate horses could dominate with three former South Australians and a former New South Wales horse on its Sunraysia debut. BETTERKEEPASECRET (4) and GLAM ROCK (1) are the main two off the front row whilst STONES CORNER (7) gets a better draw and COURAGEOUS ATOM (8) is interesting.

SUGGESTED BET: Nothing significant.

Race 5

Confidence:

STONEBRIDGE STAR (1) gets a lovely economical draw to continue his consistent form line and at the absolute least is worth an each-way bet. ON WHEELS (5) is the interesting runner of the race, SANTA CASA DREAM (4) was able to tough it out when sitting without cover on Monday and she should lead tonight, which is her favourite position. Three-year-old CALL ME HENRY (7) can’t be discounted.

SUGGESTED BET: STONEBRIDGE STAR (1) Each-Way.

Race 6

Confidence:

PATTYS ANGEL (1) is always very close in these levels of races and with a bit clearer air than last start she’ll naturally be very close. PIRATESOF ZANZIBAR (2) was very game on Monday night so has to be given a chance on that run but backs up quickly after that hard run. SMOOTH DELIGHT (7) was the eyecatcher in that race and from the economical draw is at least worth a place bet. MISTER JIMARINGLE (8) is the other key chance.

SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH DELIGHT (7) 1x3

Race 7

Confidence:

CAULONIA TERROR (8) didn’t set the world on fire in a trial before resuming when only fourth but has been very good his last two in fast class races behind Egodan and Murranji Track. He is naturally the one to beat down in class significantly. PUR DAN (4) wasn’t disgraced on Monday night but just the same you would’ve like to have seen him beat that field. He is pretty decent at his best though so he can’t be discounted. HEAVEN ATTRACTS (5) and RUBBERS DILEMMA (2) rate next.

SUGGESTED BET: CAULONIA TERROR (8) to win.

Race 8

Confidence:

TIMMY LIMOUSINE (10) has done little wrong since joining Luke Watson and class wise this is probably the easiest race he has contested since his last victory. KELLYS IDEAL (7) will be winning one at this level shortly, GOOD ONYA (8) is down in class further but finished last on Monday. ITSOKBEINGBETTER (2) at his best can win, if reserve OUTA CONTROL (4) gains a start he can go close.

SUGGESTED BET: OUTA CONTROL (4) Each-Way

Early Quaddie

Alfs Odyssey looks an anchor in the first leg, if there was going to be a blowout in one of the legs the second could be the one but am happy to go with the favourite, a co-favourite and a roughie whilst there look to be four key chances in the third leg and three key chances in the last leg.

3 / 1, 7, 9 / 2, 3, 4, 9 / 1, 4, 7 ($50 gets 138.88%)

CONFIDENCE:

Quaddie

I think there is two ways to play tonight’s Quaddie. You can either go a tad wide or tighten it up a tad. In the first two legs there are four main contenders each whilst Pur Dan at his best could serve it up to Caulonia Terror but after the former’s odds-on defeat on Monday you could easily go Caulonia Terror by himself. There are five main chances in the last leg but one of those is an emergency so that would leave you with four in the last leg.

1, 4, 5, 7 / 1, 2, 7, 8 / 4, 8 / 2, 4, 7, 8, 10 ($50 gets 31.25%)

1, 4, 5, 7 / 1, 2, 7, 8 / 8 / 2, 4, 7, 8, 10 ($50 gets 62.5%, $80 gets 100%)

CONFIDENCE:
