HATTIE (Art Major – Almihata 2.3.4, $12,248) tried to lead throughout and kicked on quite well for second with ABBEY WAY (Angus Hall – French Frolic) being in third after settling three back on the markers. FORGOT TO REMEMBER was on her worst behaviour after galloping at the start and losing approximately 100m. She was able to chase and tack onto the group with the very slow tempo being set but when she came out wide on the track to commence her run late, she switched into a pace and had to be restrained.
