It's not the favourite but Craig Rail's given a good push for Senitas Strength in tonight's third race at Bendigo, after another eye-catching performance on the trials circuit landed the Mick Blackmore runner in Rail's Trial File Blackbook.

Senitas Strength, who's a $3.10 chance with TAB.com.au, is one of four additions to the famed Blackbook this week, which can be viewed by scrolling to the bottom of the article.

SHEPPARTON 26/11/20

Trial 1: - THEROCKGOD (A Rocknroll Dance – Aldebaran Bromac) trailed the leader early then was three back on the markers before breaking stride at the 1400m and losing approximately fifteen metres. He ended up being fifth on the markers and came away from the inside to make his winning run at the 700m mark so it was a tidy display. INDIGO RIVER (Caribbean Blaster – Athletic River) led out, took a trail at the 1500m and used the sprint lane to finish a close second. KEEPCRACKINGJOKES (Heston Blue Chip – Acaptivatingeagle 1.58.3, $25,308) started off being fifth on the markers, ended up being in third and came out three horses wide on the home turn. He finished off well and was a close up third in a very good finish. LIEUTENANT JACK (Art Major – Localize) left the one out and one back trail to dash around and find the lead with just short of a mile remaining. He was run down late and finished fourth ahead of ROYAL STARZZZ (Four Starzzz Shark – Sayalittleprayer), which was unlucky after settling down last and being held up for a run at the finish. TORIKINA PRINCE was without cover early and ended up being four back on the markers. He was last of the six runners to complete the course.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.1            Final Half: - 60.2               Margins: - Head, Neck

Trial 2: - SPENCER (Courage Under Fire – Seville Lady 1.59.8, $11,785) was without cover early, dropped onto the markers in third then moved into the death seat again at the 600m. He recorded a nice win over JANNALI (Sunshine Beach – Vista Bella 1.57.9, $110,021), which was four back on the markers and moved into the one out and one back trail behind SPENCER in the back straight on the final occasion. JANNALI had little luck on debut at Shepparton on Thursday. DRIFFING began quickly and attempted to lead throughout. He enjoyed a reasonable run early and battled on fairly well for third position. ZEEHAN (Live Or Die – Under Wraps) was without cover early, drifted back to be fifth on the markers and finished off reasonably. He didn’t seem to perform as well at his second trial compared to his eye-catching effort a week earlier but he was making up some ground at the end. JUSTCALLMEAZA trailed the leader, moved away from the inside on the home turn and finished fifth with BARWEN STORM (Dawn ofa New Day – Berry Kiss) being sixth on the markers throughout. YARRAMANS SHADOW raced without cover throughout and beat home the trotter GUNNING, which settled down in third but broke stride with a mile remaining before tacking onto the group at the bell.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.8            Final Half: - 59.6               Margins: - 5m, 12m

Trial 3: - BETTOR BE SORRY began fast to find the lead. He was well in control of affairs but broke stride and drifted to the centre of the track on the home turn, losing ten metres and valuable momentum. He was able to regather his composure and dashed home to win. WAYONBYE trailed the leader and gained an inside run when BETTOR BE SORRY broke stride on the home turn. He was in the right position to win if he was good enough but BETTOR BE SORRY was impressive in the run to the finish. REACTOR NOW settled last on the markers, came out very wide on the home turn and ran home well without being extended. BYE BYE BARBIE was three back on the markers and finished fourth with RATE HIGHLY (4 back markers) being the last one to greet the judge.

Mile Rate: - 1.59.7          Final Half: - 56.6               Margins: - Neck, 10m

Trial 4: - SHEZA PLEASURE pushed forward to find the lead and won very easily, seemingly with plenty in reserve. She is taking on a top field in the inaugural running of the Graeme Lang, Aldebaran Park Trotting Mile tonight at Bendigo but she is racing in the peak of form. BUDDY HINSON (Majestic Son – Dottie Hinson 2.3.5, $48,295) was without cover early then angled across to trail the leader. He met a smart filly on the night but he was able to beat the remainder of the field by a comfortable margin. MONTANA MUSCLE (Down Under Muscles – Madiskita 2.6.3, $31,875) settled three back on the markers and finished third. CRESCO MOJITO (Bacardi Lindy – Betty Cuthbert $8,568) broke stride at the start, settled fourth on the markers but was approximately 25m behind the third horse then he tacked onto the group at the 1100m. The early effort took a toll and he tired late. He beat home LOCKSLEY LOVER (Love You – Elusive Charm 2.3.4, $86,564), which broke at the start, lost approximately 60m and made up some ground in the final circuit.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.7            Final Half: - 60.1               Margins: - 25m, 25m

Trial 5: - FASHION SHARK (Four Starzzz Shark – Genazzano) settled three back on the inside, raced without cover from the 700m and proved too strong for HOLSTEIN, which settled down last before moving into the trail behind the winner in the back straight on the final occasion. SMILE FOR ME was four back on the markers and moved away from the inside at the 300m (1-2). She tried hard for third in front of SUMMERDAYS (Village Jolt – Catchthat 2.1.8, $22,165), which gained a trail behind the leader. ALLONBLACK attempted to lead throughout but was run down over the concluding stages.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.7            Final Half: - 59.4               Margins: - 8m, Neck

Trial 6: - HEREHECOMES trailed the leader, moved to the outside with 500m remaining and was untouched in going to the line. He was able to hold off HONOLUA BAY, which was fourth on the markers before moving into the one out and one back trail and finishing off well at the end. Both HEREHECOMES and HONOLUA BAY appeared to have something in reserve at the finish and considering the final half was recorded in a slick 55.9 seconds, they were both impressive. HONOLUA BAY was brilliant in winning at Shepparton on Thursday, which is a good form pointer for HEREHECOMES when he next steps out onto the track. MUMMYS BOY began quickly to lead but couldn’t hold off the challengers in the final 300m. THE RED MOON RISING finished fourth after settling last of the five competitive chances and GOES BOOM was fifth after being three back on the markers throughout. LINORA MUSTANG broke stride at the start and lost approximately forty metres so she was never a winning possibility.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.4            Final Half: - 55.9               Margins: - 1m, 20m

BACCHUS MARSH 28/11/20

Trial 1: - DARING ANGEL has been in good form recently with victories at Geelong and Bendigo along with a third behind the handy trotter Little Yankee at her latest appearance. She was able to win the opening trial from BRANDONS PRICE, which has been inclined to pace recently and was stood down for three trials after his latest unplaced effort at Warragul. AUNTY ETHAL hasn’t started since July but prepared for her first up effort at Cranbourne on Sunday with a third placing ahead of YANKEE VELVET.

Trial 2: - ROCCO AMERICANO (American Ideal – Wya Mya Macray 1.57.4, $84,650) continued his impressive trial form with another victory. He finished off in a quick final quarter of 28.8 seconds to defeat AIMFORTHESTARZZZ, which was stood down to trial after pulling hard and choking down at his latest attempt at Warragul. AIMFORTHESTARZZZ backed up with an unplaced effort at Charlton on Friday after he endured a tough trip. MEGIDDO prepared for his upcoming assignment at Geelong this afternoon with a third placing. He strikes a suitable assignment today and his third placing was behind two handy horses. MAGICOOL hasn’t raced since August and is now with trainer Rob O’Connell. He beat home COBBITY COVE, which hasn’t started since May.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.7            Final Half: - 58.4               Margins: - 5m, 4m

Trial 3: - BROADWAY AND FIFTH finished unplaced in all of her three starts at her first campaign of racing back in April/May. She was confidently supported on each occasion and she was able to take out her comeback trial so she obviously has ability. MERRY DANCER has been unplaced twice recently but was able to fill second position with the qualifier STEAL SOME TIME (Lombo Pocket Watch – Jillie Scot 2.1.1, $28,428) being in third. NIKKIS MACH hasn’t raced since September 2019 and has joined trainer Ken Tippet. She finished fourth ahead of the qualifier MY LINDSAY BELL (Modern Art – Allstar Elsu).

Mile Rate: - 2.4.8            Final Half: - 61.5               Margins: - 2m, 6m

Trial 4: - BAARLINEE (Peak – Drop Us Aline 2.0.4, $103,393) is out of a good race mare in Drop Us Aline and has had a few trials recently. She made mistakes at her first few trial performances but is starting to put it altogether now. She made her debut at Charlton on Thursday when unplaced behind Glengarriff. WILCANNIA was placed on debut back in March. He was able to fill second position ahead of COOGNPETE (Skyvalley – Gordon Girl), which has had several trials leading up to his debut performance at Geelong this afternoon. LETHAL LES has returned from New South Wales and joins trainer Robert Young. He is racing at Cranbourne on Sunday and prepared for that performance with a fourth placing. He finished ahead of CAPTAIN GRAYWOOD, which hasn’t raced since June and the qualifier CHERRY PICKER (Great Success – Cherry Sweet 2.7.7, $21,900) was last of the six runners to cross the line.

Mile Rate: - 2.9.4            Final Half: - 62.6               Margins: - 8m, 2m

Trial 5: - CONFUSIONANDDELAY hasn’t raced since an eighth at Melton back in June. He was able to secure victory in slow time over TOTALLY SHATTERED, which was stood down to trial after his unplaced effort at Kilmore in October. MONTY MAJOR had three starts in October and was able to finish third with ITEKA ROSE being twelve metres away in fourth position. THE REGULATOR hasn’t raced since being stood down to trial in September and was last of the five runners to complete the course.

Mile Rate: - 2.13.5          Final Half: - 63.8               Margins: - 8m, 2m

MILDURA 29/11/20

Trial 1: - SKIPPERS SWAN SONG settled three back on the markers and moved away from the inside with 300m remaining. He finished off quickly and was able to get the prize. BEAU BRONSKI began quickly and was able to find the lead comfortably. He set up a slow tempo and was run down late but he kicked on strongly when challenged, going down by about a head. KATE KANARDLY (Modern Art – Kates Ally 2.1.0, $20,679) settled last of the four runners and came to the outside on the turn. She was able to get past TICKLE TICKLE (Sir Galvinator – Happy Easer Lombo) (trailed the leader) in the run to the post.

Mile Rate: - 2.7.8            Final Half: - 62.8               Margins: - Not Given

Trial 2: - COME ON ELVIS raced without cover for the majority of the journey and pulled hard mid-race. He dashed to the lead with 700m remaining and sustained the run to win the trial nicely. ABSTRACT HANOVER settled behind the leader, moved away from the inside at the 500m and chased hard into second position with the early leader EDWINA EXPRESS being in third. LAST ARTIST settled three back on the inside and lost ground in the back straight on the final occasion but picked up again late to fill fourth spot. STAR NEW YORK (Nearly A Star – Tell New York 2.4.1, $4,202) finished last of the five runners after settling at the rear of the field. He is sired by Nearly A Star (48-3-7-5, 2.3.1, $11,597), which did most of his racing at Mildura and is the sire of seven live foals.

Mile Rate: - 1.59.1          Final Half: - 60.6               Margins: - 7m, 15m

Trial 3: - THE TOOTH FAIRY began quickly to lead, copped plenty of pressure early and surrendered the front at the bell. She gained a run through the middle with 500m remaining, took the opportunity to drive to the lead and held off her rivals in the run to the judge. It was a handy performance after the energy she expended early. HIS A DREAMER was behind the leader early, dropped back to last at the bell and gained a one out and one back trail in the last lap. He tried to issue a challenge in the straight but THE TOOTH FAIRY was able to hold him at bay. MAXWELL JOHN settled fourth on the inside, moved away from the markers to race without cover but hung out badly with 500m remaining and went out very wide on the track. He ended up finishing a distant third ahead of MISS CULLENREACTOR, which sat without cover, pressured the leader in the first lap and found the front running role at the bell but tired late.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.2            Final Half: - 63.1               Margins: - 1.5m, 15m

Trial 4: - CHEVAL CHARETTE trailed the leader, came to the outside at the 300m mark and was able to get home best to take out the final trial. RAINBOW RAIN settled last of the three runners, came out three horses wide at the quarter pole and made a line of three on the home turn. He finished off well but CHEVAL CHARETTE was edging away at the line. OHOKA DIESEL began quickly to lead and raced keenly throughout the middle stages. He was joined by his two rivals turning for home and dropped back to be last of the three horses in the run to the finish.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.8            Final Half: - 61.3               Margins: - 3m, 1.5m

MARYBOROUGH 29/11/20

Trial 1: - UNSPOKEN LOVE is a former pacer from New South Wales and had the one start at Canberra for a fourth. She created a good impression in the trotting gait by leading all of the way and winning with plenty in reserve. She makes her trotting debut against a strong field at Bendigo this evening but she has the early speed to find a prominent position early. THIS QUAKER (Quaker Jet – This Way) was able to trail the leader for the duration of the trial and finished in second position with IMA LOUIE TOUIE being in third after racing without cover throughout. CRONK was three back on the markers throughout and finished fourth in front of IN VINO VERITAS (Fling It – Sun Legend), which settled sixth on the markers before moving into the one out and one back trail with 1100m remaining. JESSICAS STORY (Imperial Count – Im Rite Or Wrong 1.58.0, $39,690) was four back on the markers throughout and beat home COULD DOWITHARAIN (Danny Bouchea – Lily May 2.2.6, $18,512), which missed away by over 50m and was tailed off for the remainder of the journey.

Mile Rate: - 2.7.3            Final Half: - 60.7               Margins: - 20m, 10m

Trial 2: - RUBY WINGATE trailed the leader early then was three back on the markers and moved through to trail the leader again with 1100m remaining so she enjoyed a nice run in transit. She came to the outside on the home turn and was able to edge past WELEASE WODGER (Barna Straide – Seven Nations 1.59.5, $63,000) to get the prize. WELEASE WODGER began quickly to lead, took a trail at the mile marker then moved to the outside to race without cover for the final lap. He hit the lead on the home turn and battled on strongly in the straight. MANBAR PRINCESS (Betterthancheddar – Korobeit Princess 2.2.7, $13,165) was without cover early before finding the lead in the back straight on the first occasion. She tried to go with WELEASE WODGER in the final lap but was overtaken approaching the home turn. BOLDYOU (Shadyshark Hanover – Glamazon) settled down last of the four runners, worked into the one out and one back trail and galloped with 300m remaining so he lost his chance.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.4            Final Half: - 58.8               Margins: - 1m, 25m

Trial 3: - WYATTFLYNN trailed the leader for the majority of the trial and came to the outside with 600m remaining. He hit the lead before the home turn and drew away to win easily. SMOKE MY MOTOR settled fifth on the inside and was able to poke through to middle late to finish second. She was hitting the line better than any of her rivals in the latter stages. LEFTHOOKRIGHTCROSS was without cover early and eased to be four back on the markers. He gained a one out and one back trail at the 600m and was able to get up to finish third in front of the early leader in MARLA. STAR OF VOUVRAY settled three back on the markers and trailed the leader once WYATTFLYNN made his move. She finished fourth and JOEWEST (Roll With Joe – Maximum Joy 1.58.2, $31,250) was last of the six runners throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.1            Final Half: - 58.2               Margins: - 10m, 2m

Trial 4: - STEEL SCREENS settled three back on the markers, moved away from the inside at the 700m and sprinted very quickly whilst under a strong hold in the back straight. He dashed to the front and established a big lead over the latter stages. He was never fully extended so it was an impressive display. GOBSMACKED settled down in last position and moved to the outside with 500m remaining. He found the line nicely to grab second but followed with an unplaced effort at Shepparton on Thursday. VALENTINA BRAVE trailed the leader VILLAGE SAFARI throughout and finished in third position relegating VILLAGE SAFARI to being the last of the four runners across the line.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.6            Final Half: - 57.3               Margins: - 15m, 6m

Trial 5: - TRIPLE ZED began well and progressed forward to find the lead with 1800m remaining. He set up a reasonable tempo in the lead and was able to score softly at the end. He is drawn to utilize his gate speed at Geelong this afternoon. HUEY TREVOR (Auckland Reactor – Eastern Art) trailed the leader early then was shuffled to three back on the markers once TRIPLE ZED crossed over to the pegs in the leading role. He moved away from the inside at the 500m and was out three horses wide shortly afterwards. He battled on well for second in front of HES GONESKI, which led out, took a trail and moved away from the inside at the quarter pole. SHARDY (Smiling Shard – Pondering) settled four back on the inside and finished fourth ahead of ROXY ROYALE, which settled down last, came away from the markers with 700m remaining but couldn’t progress late.

Last Mile: - 2.2.3             Final Half: - 58.3               Margins: - 2m, Head

Trial 6: - WINGATE GUY settled four back on the markers, moved into the one out and one back trail in the back straight on the final occasion and was out three horses wide with 300m remaining. He sprinted home strongly to score nicely. THERMAL REACTOR trailed the leader and came to the outside with 700m remaining. He battled away for second with MY SHADY MATE (Shadyshark Hanover – Tarzar Jah) being a good effort in third. He was without cover early, eased back to be last on the markers at the 1400m and worked home well in the latter stages without being pushed. SCENE OF TERROR (Western Terror – Clean The Scene) was three back on the markers early, trailed the leader in the latter stages and was held up for momentum before ducking back into the sprint lane. He finished fourth and the trotter NEPHEW OF SONOKO, was collared on the home turn so he came in last of the five runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.6.3            Final Half: - 59.9               Margins: - 5m, Head

Trial 7: - ARDENT BLISS settled down last of the five runners, gained a one out and one back at the 500m and finished strongly out wide on the track to claim victory on the line. TWO TELL was in fourth position, moved into the death seat in the back straight on the final occasion and made up ground on the leaders. He was grinding away in the straight and hit the lead momentarily close to the post but was nosed out by ARDENT BLISS on the line. That pair are competing in the same race at Stawell on Monday and both horses are in with a chance. JERICHOS TRUMPET was without cover early but sprinted quickly to find the lead at the 1600m mark. He was holding on determinedly down the front straight but was denied victory right on the line. BILLABONG MADI began quickly and set the speed. She ended up finishing fourth with VISION AND COURAGE in fifth after trailing her throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.7            Final Half: - 60.8               Margins: - Head, Head

Trial 8: - IMA CALVERT ROSE galloped away from the standing start and continued to gallop for the first 100m. After making the error, she didn’t lose a great deal of ground and was approximately 30m behind the leader in the early stages of the event. She quickly tacked on, settled fourth on the markers and came to the outside with 700m remaining, dashing home to win the trial. She is meeting a strong field at Bendigo tonight from the mobile start. DYNAMIC DIESEL stepped away well from the standing start and tried to lead throughout. He was trying to battle back in the straight but he just found IMA CALVERT ROSE to be too quick in the straight. SURBITON ARMISTICE trailed the leader throughout and finished third in front of COULD DOWITHARAIN (Danny Bouchea – Lily May 2.2.6, $18,512), which was slow to move, settled in third position and wasn’t beaten too far at the end.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.1            Final Half: - 60.6               Margins: - 2m, 5m

HAMILTON 29/11/20

Trial 1: - SHOW ME THE MOOLAH has uncharacteristically made a few errors recently, twice when he was in front approaching the home turn. He was able to prepare for his effort at Stawell on Monday with a victory in the opening trial over ICICLE, which commenced from the handicap of 20m with JACK OF THE GREEN being in third position. KING JEWELIEN (Angus Hall – Black Curlew 2.7.3, $7,805) is a 3yo trotter that is unraced and was taking on the winners of multiple races. He was last of the four runners to greet the judge.

Mile Rate: - 2.11.0          Final Half: - 61.4               Margins: - No margins given

Trial 2: - SHOWEM SHIFTY broke stride several times in the run and was stood down to trial at his latest race track appearance. He was able to score in a slow mile rate of 2.7.0 with FIRE OFFICIAL, which was stood down to trial after finishing unplaced at Ararat last outing, being able to fill second position. The Jim Barker trained duo STEAM BOAT, which hasn’t raced since December 2017 and SWITCHER (Union Guy – Bentom Belle 2.2.2, $22,731) finished third and fourth respectively.

Mile Rate: - 2.7.0            Final Half: - 60.5               Margins: - Not Given

TRIAL 3: - IT’S A GOOD FEELING finished unplaced at her first run since September and should be getting fitter leading up to her performance at Stawell on Monday. She was able to defeat the unraced filly RAINBOWSNPEARLS (Rock N Rock Heaven – Soho Cannes 1.59.1, $115,282) with MURDOCH being in third position. SHEEZA PONY hasn’t raced since an eighth at Mount Gambier in March and finished last of the four runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.0            Final Half: - 59.4               Margins: - Not Given

Trial 4: - Only two runners competed in the final trial and they finished in unison with the judge being unable to split them. DANCIN WITH ELVIS has been freshened since an unplaced effort in September and the quality filly GOOD FAITH hasn’t competed in a race since being fourth in the South Australian Oaks back in March. Both horses obviously performed nicely considering the final 800m was run in a slick 56.9 seconds.

Mile Rate: - 1.59.0          Final Half: - 56.9               Margin: - Dead-Heat

BENDIGO 29/11/20

Trial 1: - VALLEY ESS JAY trailed the leader, came to the outside with 300m remaining and was able to sprint home best in the run to the finish. JAY BEE FLEX began quickly from the standing start to lead and set up a moderate tempo. She found VALLEY ESS JAY to be too slick up the straight but it is fair to say that neither horse was fully extended to the line. HIGHLAND HILL was slow but safe to begin and missed the start by approximately 15m. He settled three back on the inside and started to yield ground approaching the home turn.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.5            Final Half: - 58.6               Margins: - 3m, 16m

Trial 2: - FORM ANALYST began brilliantly to find the lead and enjoyed a good run in the first circuit. He copped from pressure from MAJOR WATSON but he was able to kick clear at the end to win nicely. MAJOR WATSON is a handy former New Zealander and he performed extremely well. He went back to last early, pulled hard and came away from the markers to death seat from the bell. He was still strong at the finish in a quick final 800m so he is worth following. He is much better than his first up unplaced run at Shepparton on Thursday night suggests. DUNROBBIN was able to fill third position after trailing the leader throughout and CARL MATTGREGOR was last of the four runners after being three back on the inside for the duration.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.1            Final Half: - 56.8               Margins: - 6m, 3m

Trial 3: - SASSYS A TERROR began well and was able to push forward to find the lead going around the first corner. She set up an even tempo and kicked on a little too well when placed under pressure in the final 100m. She appeared to have her chance via the sprint lane when fourth at Shepparton on Thursday. TYABB WONDER was the first to the markers then took cover behind SASSYS A TERROR. She used the sprint lane and appeared to be a winning chance in the front straight but SASSYS A TERROR was able to do enough to hold her at bay. The former Queensland pacer MISTER ARTIKULATE was a good run in third. He settled last of the five runners, lost ground when caught behind a tiring runner in the back straight and sprinted home nicely in the final 600m. He failed to finish at his Victorian debut at Charlton on Friday but he is capable of being competitive in this State. AMELIA ROCKS was three back on the markers and came away from the inside approaching the home turn. She finished fourth with FRESH TROUBLES (Auckland Reactor – Kaka Point Coast $24,765) (4 back markers) being the last one across the line.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.6            Final Half: - 59.4               Margins: - Head, 4m

Trial 4: - There were several moves made in the fourth trial but FOUR STAR SAINT was able to get the prize. He was without cover and progressed forward but was very lazy once he hit the front. It took some driving but he eventually got across to the markers. He then surrendered the lead shortly afterwards. He was shuffled back from the 600m mark but angled into the one out and one back trail before switching back to the inside to trail the leader on the home turn then scored via the sprint lane. REDDY MAJOR settled fourth on the inside, made a lightning move from the half mile marker to quickly run to the lead and tried to sustain the run over the latter stages. He was holding on in the straight but FOUR STAR SAINT was just able to sneak through on his inside to get the prize. BEACH WRECK led out, took a trail then went back into the leading role again with 1300m remaining. He couldn’t accelerate to match the speed of REDDY MAJOR in the back straight and got headed off but he was able to grind away at the finish. ROCKNDESIRE (Pet Rock – Desiring Bella 2.0.4, $17,712) was three back on the markers then moved into the running lane at the 400m (1-2). He finished ahead of MADRE SUPREMO, which was third on the markers in the early stages but appeared to contact the sulky of the horse in front and broke stride at the mile marker. He recovered to be fourth on the inside and tried to follow the slick move of REDDY MAJOR in the back straight but couldn’t sustain the run and ended up finishing in fifth position. ABITOFDELIGHT (Bitobliss – Karim Vale 2.1.4, $4,463) was last of the six runners throughout and started yielding ground from the 400m.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.8            Final Half: - 56.9               Margins: - Head, 3m

Trial 5: - HARRYHOO began well and settled three back on the markers. He gained a lovely run through on the markers approaching the home turn and sprinted quickly via the passing lane. He scored easily with seemingly plenty in reserve and backed up that performance with another victory via the sprint lane at Charlton on Friday. THE KEW LEGEND began fast and found the lead before taking cover at the 1800m mark. He obtained an inside run to hit the lead as the field were turning for home but he couldn’t match the finishing burst of HARRYHOO in the latter stages. HEAVENLY BELLE progressed forward to find the lead shortly after the start. She was allowed to stride and went very quickly in the back straight but she wanted to hang out from the 600m, eventually drifting well away from the markers nearing the home turn. She finished third with BACKWARDS FIRST coming from last of the five runners to pick up MALAVA MISS (Shadow Play – Western Art 2.3.4, $2,255) (4 back markers) in the latter stages.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.4            Final Half: - 58.1               Margins: - 4m, 4m

Trial 6: - SENITAS STRENGTH has produced some sparkling performances at the trials this season and this trial was no exception. She trailed the leader, came to the outside with 400m remaining and produced a brilliant burst of speed to win extremely well. She was able to coast to the line under her own steam and was getting further ahead with every stride. She appears to be a big chance in the third event at Bendigo this evening. ATEGO TITAN began quickly to lead and set up a reasonable tempo. He was overtaken by SENITAS STRENGTH before the home turn but was able to kick on and finish in second position. DECLAN HENRY was three back on the markers throughout and finished third. LION HEAT began quickly but galloped 50m after the start and lost valuable ground. He chased hard mid-race and was almost able to tack on but he got weary over the final stages.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.7            Final Half: - 60.1               Margins: - 20m, 15m

BLACKBOOKER: - Senitas Strength

Trial 7: - LADY LIL was able to fire to the front and backed off the speed in the middle stages. She was able to quicken in the last 600m and established a good lead on the home turn. DRAGON FLY (Skyvalley – My Lady Posh $9,850) trailed LADY LIL and lost ground coming out of the back straight but was able to pick up again late and got within five metres on the line. She unfortunately broke stride 20m before the line however. LONGARMOFTHELAW was last of the three runners throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.6.2            Final Half: - 61.7               Margins: - 5m, 20m

TABCORP PARK, MELTON 01/12/20

Trial 1: - ROGUE GENTLEMAN began very quickly to lead, pulled hard throughout the entire event and established a big lead on his rivals. He continued to run along at a rapid rate and was able to remain strong at the finish, winning by a large margin. ALDEBARAN TAKARA was in second position throughout and remained well ahead of ALDEBARAN THOR (Skyvalley – Countessa Hest 2.1.5, $137,858) (3 back markers) in the run to the finish. LOOK FOR TASCOTT (Skyvalley – Hands of a Star) galloped at the start and was tailed off throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.3            Final Half: - 61.06    Margins: - 36.5m, 63.5m

Trial 2: - HY LEINVINCIBLE settled down in fifth position and was following the markers before moving up without cover with 900m remaining. He was able to work to the lead with 600m remaining and sustained the run to get the prize. GIVEITATRY settled three back on the markers, came to the outside leaving the back straight and made up good ground for second. PRIDDY SUBLIME (Art Major – Our Priddy Diva) settled four back on the markers and worked into a distant third. SUPER SEB (Mach Three – Nightshade Franco) began well and progressed to the lead shortly after the start. He seemed to be going well in the lead but something took away his concentration in the back straight with 600m remaining and he stopped abruptly then went inside of the markers. He dropped back to a clear last, chased the group and came out very wide on the home turn to dash into fourth. It is most likely he would have won if it wasn’t for that incident in the back straight. He has ability but is obviously still learning. HEDEALSINDIAMONDS (American Ideal – Rebel Diamond 1.56.8, $59,750) was slow away and missed the start by ten metres. He moved away from the inside with 1100m remaining and gained a one out and one back trail at the 800m. He finished fifth in front of DEVIL OF A SMILE, which settled sixth on the markers and AN FELLA MOR (Major In Art – Mumsthaword Lombo 2.0.9, $17,758) was last of the seven runners to cross the line after leading out then taking cover.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.4            Final Half: - 58.08    Margins: - 1.5m, 15.5m

Trial 3: - CONSTANTINOPLE trailed the leader for the first lap, moved up without cover at the half mile marker and dashed to the lead with 500m remaining. He was able to win without being pushed so it was a handy performance but the first quarter of 34.1 seconds made it difficult for those horses that were chasing late. He has been unplaced in two starts to date but he performed well enough in the trial to be competitive at Bendigo tonight. ONE OVER DA SON settled six back on the markers and was the first to manoeuvre away from the inside at the bell. He ended up being sixth on the outside (1-2) before coming out wide turning for home and running home nicely late. It was a nice trial but he is taking on a very good field at Bendigo this evening. BROMWICH settled fifth on the markers and picked up ground for third in front of MARIACHI, which followed the winner for the entire journey (3 back markers, 1-1, trailed leader). GET UP EARLY (Yankee Spider – Packed Up Early 2.7.6, $18,588) settled in fourth position and moved into the running lane in the final circuit. He finished ahead of SUGAR HIGH (Peak – Sugar Times), which set the speed but was overtaken with 500m remaining.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.5            Final Half: - 59.97    Margins: - 5m, 6m

Trial 4: - BULLYS DELIGHT utilized his gate speed to lead early, set up an average tempo and was able to dash home his final quarter in 27.49 seconds to win the trial. MAKE WAY did a good job to pick up second position after settling last of the four runners and moving to the outside with 500m remaining. BONUS PLAY was three back on the markers, used the sprint lane and was allowed to coast down to the line without being fully extended. OHOKA MAXIMUS trailed the leader, came to the outside on the home turn and tried hard. He wasn’t beaten by far but was last of the four runners to cross the line.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.0            Final Half: - 56.12    Margins: - 2m, 3.5m

Trial 5: - SLEEPEE began quickly and was able to find the lead shortly after the start. She ran home in a slick final half of 57.52 seconds and was able to hold her rivals at bay. She is drawn on the second line at Bendigo this evening. JUST BELIEVE trailed the leader and used the sprint lane before finishing off solidly in the final 50m. He commences from the back mark of 20m at Kilmore on Tuesday. FULL NOISE trailed the leader and came to the outside with a half mile remaining. He battled on strongly in the quick final half to finish a close up third. He has drawn favourably at Bendigo this evening. IMPERIAL WHIZ was four back on the inside, moved into the one out and one back trail in the back straight on the final occasion but finished last of the four runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.4            Final Half: - 57.52    Margins: - 2m, 1.5m

Trial 6: - THUMBS UP began very quickly to lead, set up a slow tempo and had a good kick left at the finish. He went to the line under a hard hold and scored effortlessly. It was a good hit-out for his first up performance at Kilmore on Tuesday. CALCULATING DANCER settled last of the four runners, came to the outside at the 700m markers and chased hard in a brisk final half of 57.55 seconds. He would have to be a good chance at Cranbourne on Sunday based on that performance. BEAU HART was three back on the markers, came to the outside of DREAM SWEETLY, which trailed the leader, at the quarter pole and was just able to get the better of that pacer in the final stages to pick up third.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.2            Final Half: - 57.55    Margins: - 15m, 39m

BLACKBOOKER: - Thumbs Up

Trial 7: - LETS GET SHORTY was last of the five runners with the field being in single file and trailed into the race nicely coming up to the home turn (3-1). He angled out four horses wide in the straight and finished off best to take the trial. HIS DREAM LIVES ON was four back on the inside and made a move at the 500m mark. He ended up being three horses wide for the final 400m and boxed on quite well at the finish. SCHNAPPSHOT settled three back on the inside, was held up for a run at a vital stage and finished strongly via the sprint lane to run a nice third. BIT OF A DREAM trailed the leader REALY UNDER FIRE and came to the outside at the quarter pole. She got the better of REALY UNDER FIRE but the pair were swamped late.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.8            Final Half: - 58.49    Margins: - 8.5m, Head

Trial 8: - SUN BODY trailed the leader ALDEBARAN JAYTEE, came to the outside on the home turn and was able to kick on strongly in the straight. BULLION LADY settled last of the three runners and was the widest runner into the straight. She loomed alongside of SUNBODY but couldn’t get past in the run to the finish. SUNBODY has drawn on the pole position in a standing start event at Kilmore on Tuesday. ALDEBARAN JAYTEE showed good standing start manners and led but finished last of the trio albeit less than a length from the winner in a good finish.

Mile Rate: - 2.9.6            Final Half: - 59.66    Margins: - Head, 1.5m

SHEPPARTON 01/12/20

Trial 1: - TERROR OF LOCKSLEY settled four back on the markers, moved into the one out and one back trail at the 700m mark then angled in to trail the leader on the home turn. He came to the outside with 150m remaining and was able to snare victory on the line. CAPTAIN DAN (Captaintreacherous – Delightful Sheila) was without cover early but pushed forward to find the lead on the first turn. He copped some pressure from THEROCKGOD (A Rocknroll Dance – Aldebaran Bromac) in the back straight and was run down on the line. THEROCKGOD was three back on the markers, came to the outside at 700m mark and quickly moved up to join the leader. He wanted to hang out badly coming up to the home turn but he held on determinedly once he balanced up in the front straight. FOURSTAR FLYER settled five back on the inside and moved through to fourth without being pushed. TORIKINA PRINCE led out then took a trail and finished ahead of OMBRA ARTOIS, which made a mistake from sixth on the markers at the 900m mark and lost a few lengths. ROYAL STARZZZ (Four Starzzz Shark – Sayalittleprayer) settled down last and was checked by the galloping OMBRA ARTOIS, losing fifteen metres as the field entered the final half of the race.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.5            Final Half: - 59.5               Margins: - Neck, 18m

Trial 2: - SAN CARLO dropped back to be last of the six runners, moved to the outside with 1700m remaining and circled around the field to find the front approximately 400m later. He enjoyed a nice run thereafter and was able to stave off a determined challenge from YORKSHIRE to take out the trial. He did go to the line under a hard hold. YORKSHIRE was a very good run in second position and is worth following. He began well but was shuffled to four back on the markers, came away from the inside at the 500m mark and made a strong surge. His National Rating is half of the 118 rating of SAN CARLO so it was a very good performance to be beaten by a head margin. HI MANAMEISJEFF also performed nicely. He showed good gate speed to lead, took a trail behind SAN CARLO and tried hard in the latter stages. MONASH was behind the leader early then three back on the inside when SAN CARLO found the lead. He finished a distant fourth with WILLEM being fifth after trying to chase from last at the 500m mark. CHEVRON FLIES was five back on the markers for the majority of the trial and finished last of the six in a quality trial.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.4            Final Half: - 58.5               Margins: - Head, 12m

BLACKBOOKER: - Yorkshire

Trial 3: - FASHION SHARK (Four Starzzz Shark – Genazzano) was an impressive winner. He led comfortably, took cover at the 1500m and moved to the outside when turning for home. He extended beautifully in the home straight and didn’t even raise a sweat. He is definitely worth following and he is drawn to go very close at Kilmore on Tuesday. NOMORELYING is a handy horse when racing at his best form and wasn’t fully extended to the line but FASHION SHARK did put a gap on him late. He settled in sixth position, progressed forward out wide on the track and found the lead in the back straight on the first occasion. MARKLEIGH JEAN (Shadyshark Hanover – Markleigh Gina) finished in third position after trailing the leader early and ending up being three back on the markers. HOLSTEIN was left stranded without cover for the entire trip and finished in fourth position ahead of SUMMERDAYS (Village Jolt – Catchthat 2.1.8, $22,165), which was four back on the markers for the majority. LINORA MUSTANG galloped away and lost 30m at the start. She was able to tack onto the group but she got tired in the latter stages. FIRST ADVENTURE (Mr Feelgood – Rock Me Gently) gained a one out and one back trail but began yielding ground with 700m remaining.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.3            Final Half: - 58.1               Margins: - 6m, 8m

BLACKBOOKER: - Fashion Shark

Trial 4: - PIPPI was forced to race without cover for nearly the entire journey but was able to grind out a victory. She was able to angle in behind the leader JUSTBLINGIT CRESCO for a breather in the final 400m and used the sprint lane in the home straight. YARRAMANS SHADOW was in the one out and out back trail behind the winner for most of the journey then pushed forward when PIPPI found a position on the markers. He finished second and the early leader JUSTBLINGIT CRESCO kicked on well for a close up third. That trio got well clear of EVIES DRESSMAKER, which trailed the leader and SMILEFORAWHILE (Grinfromeartoear – Montesian) (3 back markers) saw the field to be safely home.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.0            Final Half: - 61.0               Margins: - Neck, 1m

Trial 5: - STAR DOWN UNDER began brilliantly out wide on the track and led clearly. He set up a slow tempo early but he was able to dash well clear of his rivals in the final 600m to win by a large margin. MONTANA MUSCLE (Down Under Muscles – Madiskita 2.6.3, $31,875) trailed the leader throughout and finished second in front of CRESCO MOJITO (Bacardi Lindy – Betty Cuthbert $8,568), which was three back on the markers and used the sprint lane. MOTORING HALL broke stride at the start and missed away by approximately 50m. He chased hard to tack onto the group, came out very wide on the home turn and picked up some ground on the beaten brigade in the latter stages. LOCKSLEY LOVER (Love You – Elusive Charm 2.3.4, $86,564) is a nicely bred trotter but is still learning. He settled four back on the inside but was bobbing his head and trotting roughly for the majority of the journey. ABBIE (Majestic Son – Aldebaran Peggy) galloped in the latter stages of the score up and was tailed off throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.9.2            Final Half: - 62.0               Margins: - 50m, 10m

KILMORE 02/12/20

Trial 1: - TRIXY NIXIE (Trixton – Starcus $55,576) is a nicely bred juvenile trotter for trainer Alison Alford. She trailed the leader YANKEE MAUREEN early, moved to the outside at the bell and joined the leader half way down the back straight. She was able to edge out YANKEE MAUREEN on the post in a trial, which was more like a trackwork run.

Mile Rate: - 2.13.1          Final Half: - 63.3               Margin: - Head

Trial 2: - BETTOR BE SORRY was allowed to amble to the front as the starter said go. He was unchallenged from the outset and was able to post a quick final half of 56.3 seconds. He won with plenty in reserve and importantly, showed no signs of making an error after his slight hiccup at the Shepparton trials several days earlier. ARGGGHHH trailed BETTOR BE SORRY throughout and tried hard in the straight. FORM ANALYST dropped back to last, moved away from the inside with 500m remaining and got up to second before the home turn but he peaked a little in the straight and dropped back to be last of the three.

Mile Rate: - 1.58.5          Final Half: - 56.3               Margins: - 5m, 12m

Trial 3: - KEEPCRACKINGJOKES (Heston Blue Chip – Acaptivatingeagle 1.58.3, $25,308) led out then took a trail at the mile marker. He allowed the leader EDNA DOROTHY to get well clear in the middle stages but was able to pick up the ground and got home best in the run to the finish. He is drawn nicely for his debut at Kilmore on Tuesday night. EDNA DOROTHY possesses high speed but is still learning. She pulled hard in the early stages and wouldn’t settle when three back on the markers so she took off around the field to find the lead. She continued to roll once she found the front and established a lead of approximately 30m mid-race. She was getting weary at the end and raced greenly when being challenged in the straight but she did a good job to finish as close as she did. She is racing over the middle distance at Kilmore on Tuesday. KNOW REPLY (Heston Blue Chip – That’s All Right 1.59.9, $24,127) was behind the leader early then three back on the markers. He wanted to hang in and race very roughly on the corners, which cost him a lost of ground and momentum. He finished a distant third with DAISYBOO (Art Major – Dolly Jasper 1.55.6, $38,973) being in fourth after making an error in the score up and losing approximately 40m before release point.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.2            Final Half: - 60.1               Margins: - 2m, 15m

Trial 4: - LONGNWINDINGROAD began quickly to lead and set up a slow tempo. She had a good kick left in the home straight and was able to fend off her rivals to get the prize. MUMMYS BOY trailed the leader and used the sprint lane. He made up ground over the concluding stages but just failed to overhaul the winner. ALBAROCK settled down in fourth, moved up without cover from the quarter pole and was finding the line strongly without being pushed so it was a nice performance. YOURSNMINE settled three back on the inside and just beat home BREVITY, which settled down last and moved into the one out and one back trail behind ALBAROCK.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.9            Final Half: - 59.2               Margins: - 1m, 2m

Trial 5: - SHANIA TEE began well and was without cover momentarily before surging to the front around the first corner. She rolled along at a genuine tempo and was able to kick back strongly when challenged over the latter stages. She is drawn awkwardly at Cranbourne on Sunday. BEACH WRECK pulled extremely hard in the score up and in the early stages of the event. He found the lead, took cover behind SHANIA TEE then used the sprint lane. He looked the winner with 30m remaining when he hit the lead momentarily but SHANIA TEE was able to kick back and score. COULD BE WOODY settled third on the markers, moved away from the inside at the 600m mark and was grinding away in third position. CMONBABYLITEMYFIRE was slow away and missed the start by approximately 15m. She was four back on the markers for the majority of the journey and came out three horses wide on the home turn but didn’t pick up too much ground in the straight. OUR THUNDER BUDDY was out of position at the start, galloped going around the first corner and was retired out of the trial.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.9            Final Half: - 60.9               Margins: - Head, 5m

Trial 6: - READY TO RULE was able to step away safely from the standing start and led clearly. He was always well clear of his two rivals and did everything right to score easily. He has made a few errors at the races thus far but he has a lot of ability when he puts it altogether. IZMOK was second throughout and MASS DESTRUCTION was last of the three. There were large gaps in between each of the three runners with the three horses seemingly being content to run their own race.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.1            Final Half: - 61.4               Margins: - 12m, 30m
