Vale Kevin Tatt

Former Woodstock/Whittlesea hobby trainer Kevin Tatt sadly passed on Wednesday, January 10, aged 74.

Kevin loved his harness racing, especially at Kilmore, and was a great friend of the Mifsud family, Geoff Dodd, Graeme Lang and in more recent times Bendigo’s Gary Donaldson.

Since the 1978-80 season he drove 61 times for one win and trained seven winners from 208 starters, the best of them being Brigade Honoured (five wins).

Kevin had numerous jobs throughout his life, one of them being in a management position at the MCG. He loved nothing more than to cast a line and was a long time member of Heathcote Fishing Club.

Kevin passed at his Jerilderie (NSW) home with wife Faye and daughter Kimberley by his side. His funeral will be held in Jerilderie on Thursday January 18.

Harness Racing Victoria offers sympathy to the Tatt family and Kevin’s friends.
