Big Bets: A neck will do as Princess pays for punter

Nathan Purdon’s quickly thrived since setting up camp in Victoria and he’s also made at least one punter very happy, with a TAB Big Bet landing on his recent arrival, Paramount Princess, at Tabcorp Park Melton on Friday.

After finishing third on her Australian debut, the three-year-old filly followed up to take out the All In One Property 3YO Trot at $4.80, getting up by a neck over favourite Euryphaessa to make for a narrow but satisfying win for the punter who had $2000 on the winner.

That was among the highlights in this week’s TAB Big Bets.
