Rothacker Medal: Nominations for April 18 event now open

It is time to save the date for the 2021 Gordon Rothacker Medal, which will be held on April 18 at Crown Palladium.

Details regarding ticket sales will be available shortly.

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) is now calling for nominations from the industry for prospective Gordon Rothacker Medal candidates.

The selection panel will assess each nomination and base a decision on the following criteria when selecting the 2021 Gordon Rothacker Medal recipient:

  • Contribution to harness racing in Victoria (past and present);
  • Length of industry involvement;
  • Held (voluntary or paid) key positions within the industry;
  • Demonstrated excellence within a chosen field;
  • Significant personal achievement;
  • Service as a role model/mentor;
  • Integrity

To nominate a person or persons for consideration, please email the name of the nominee and a brief summary of supportive information (achievements, positions held in the industry, length of service etc.) to Victoria Mstari (vmstari@hrv.org.au) by close of business on Friday February 19.
