The annual Harness Charity Challenge field is taking shape but there is still time to enter for the month-long tipping competition, which kicks off on Tuesday.
Every day in October each Harness Charity Challenge tipster will select a best bet and display it on Twitter using the hashtag #HarnessCharityChallenge.
The tipster who accumulates the most money in returns (based on their selections) at the end of the month will be deemed the champion and their partner charity will receive the lion’s share of the prize pool.
Almost $11,000 has already been raised this year through entrants and donations, but competition organiser Steve Salter is hoping to grow that in the last few days before sign-up closes.
“It’s going to massive,” he said.
“This competition has already raised over $70,000 to a whole range of charities since it was kicked off in 2015.
“It’s a great way to get so many harness fans having a lot of fun on social media, promoting the sport and raising funds for charity.”
