Gavin Lang has delved deep into the Inter Dominion, reliving past glories and talking about his chances in the TAB ID18 in a special episode of Tooth Be Told.
Podcast host Paul Campbell, for Harness Racing Victoria’s Trots Media channel, spoke with the champion reinsman this week ahead of Saturday night’s feature race meeting at Tabcorp Park Melton, where Lang will pilot trotter Save Our Pennys and pacer Im Pats Delight in the Group 1 Grand Finals.
“From a very young age the Inter Dominion was the ultimate, whether you were a trainer, an owner or a driver. I’ve grown up with that, it’s a great week,” Lang told Campbell. “Certain races have an aura about them and tradition and so on and people aspire to win it and I’m no different.”
