OVERVIEW: CAMNAT (6) settled in the second half of the field and finished off well for second behind Egbert last week. She moves to the front line now and is capable of going one better. RONZEL SONNY (5) has been racing reasonably well in South Australia and is likely to find this assignment to be easier. He worked hard and battled on well for fourth at Port Pirie last outing so he warrants respect. ABERCROMBIE LIMBO (1) is a fast beginner and is making her Mildura debut for trainer Frank Cavallaro. She was placed at Shepparton five starts ago and strikes a suitable assignment now. PRIORITY BETTING (3) is a minor place chance from his good draw.

OVERVIEW: OZZIE PUNTA (7) is a tough pacer and appears to be well placed with the aid of a concession claim. He pressed forward from the second line to park without cover when a strong third behind Earl Of Pembroke last week. KOMODO (5) will appreciate his easiest assignment for some time and has performed well at Mildura previously so he can improve on his numerical form. MARTYR (2) was resuming since April when he sprinted quickly up to the leaders on the home turn but peaked late and finished sixth at Cranbourne. He performed well at the trials prior and should be fitter from that outing so he must be considered as a winning chance. CAULONIA TERROR (4), LE SPARTACUS (6) and MERRYWOOD PAUL (8) are all worth thought in a quality race.

OVERVIEW: EARL OF PEMBROKE (6) trailed the leader and came to the outside on the home turn when he got up to score at Mildura last week. He faces a negative swing in the barrier draw but this is a field of similar standard so he should prove hard to beat again. ALL DA RAGE (8) showed very good gate speed to lead, ran along at a genuine tempo and was run down in the latter stages last week. He has built up a very good record at Mildura and he is versatile so he must be respected. MAXY WANTS TO PLAY (3) has had a few chances lately but he is dropping back from Metropolitan events at Melton and he has won three races at Mildura previously. He is well drawn and should give a bold showing. POWERSOFPERSUASION (7) should be fitter after his first up seventh at Mildura and his form last preparation was strong so he warrants respect.

OVERVIEW: IFYOULOVEMELETMEGO (4) has been racing very well in Tasmania and strikes a winnable race at his Mildura debut. He finished a close second in a slick mile of 1.56.6 on August 10, which is a strong form reference. WHITE STAR VILLAGE (9) finished off strongly for second behind Letsgetrowdy in a mile of 1.57.5 at Port Pirie last outing. He has won 14 races at Mildura previously and should be finishing off nicely again. KEAYANG CRIPPA (7) is racing consistently and found the line well for fourth behind Cheers Poverty last week. He is awkwardly drawn but is worth a ticket each way. HES A MODERN BOY (3) is a first beginner and is drawn to be prominent throughout.

OVERVIEW: FEEL THE REIGN (3) was driven aggressively at the start, eventually took cover and battled on well for fourth behind Surfe La Mer at Melton last outing. This is a much easier assignment and he gets his chance to bounce back into winning form. ILLUSTRIOUS (4) finished off well for second behind Loyola Spiaggia in a mile rate of 1.55.3 at Swan Hill last outing. He appears to be suited at Mildura having won two of his four starts previously so he must be respected. ULTIMATE ROCKER (5) led out then took cover when fifth behind Lou Will at Mildura last week after a second behind the in-form pacer Avoca Blues. He is a fast beginner and is not without a chance. STARVIN MARVIN (7) made up a lot of ground when third behind Cheers Poverty last week and has claims along with AMERICAN BOXER (9).

OVERVIEW: KEAYANG SHADOWBOX (9) came from a long way back and did well when second behind Aliza Hill at his debut for trainer Scott Garraway. He won in a mile rate of 1.56.8 at Geelong two starts back and he should competitive against this line up. KING SAINT (2) has been placed in five of his past six starts and should take beating at his Mildura debut. He endured a tough run when fourth at Swan Hill last outing and he will appreciate his best draw for a long time. VINCE LOMBARDI (3) was headed off at the start, moved into the death seat mid-race and battled on well for third at Mildura last outing. He looms as one of the leading chances. A ROCKNROLL JET (8) is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward and is worth thought from the trailing draw.

OVERVIEW: WYATTFLYNN (10) has been racing in great form in South Australia and appears to be well placed against this class. He is versatile and recorded a mile rate of 1.58.6 when he scored at Globe Derby on July 28. LOVE TO DEAL (3) is also racing well in South Australia and her overall form in Mildura has been strong. She led throughout at a Globe Derby victory on August 05 and she should be prominent throughout. SHE WHO DARES (7) sustained a long run when she finished second behind Starvin Marvin two starts ago then worked hard out of the gate and peaked over the concluding stages at her latest seventh. She is awkwardly drawn but has the ability to figure in the finish. EGBERT (1) led throughout to win last week and is worth thought along with RONZEL MICKY (4).

OVERVIEW: PUNTO CALIENTE (4) was suited to a hectic early tempo when he outstayed his rivals to win in fast time last week. This is a race of similar standard and he should prove hard to beat again. NIGHT SPIRIT (6) produced a big finishing burst and just failed to overhaul Butter Cup at Globe Derby two starts ago. He is widely drawn but is racing in good form and is worth an investment. BEAUTY ABOVE (3) has worked to the line nicely at her past two attempts and this is her best draw for some time so she is not without a chance. MARIAHS SHADOW (1) left a trailing position to park without cover in fast time when fourth behind PUNTO CALIENTE (4) last week. She is a tough type and is worth thought form the pole position.

OVERVIEW: GLITZY ALL OVER (2) is searching for four straight victories and is capable of completing the task from the good draw. She worked home strongly to defeat Spring Delight (won twice since) at her latest attempt. CHEERS POVERTY (5) has also been in winning form and got up on the line over IM ALRIGHT JACK (9) in fast time last week. He possesses early speed and is one of the leading chances again. SHES POPPY (3) is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward and scored at Mildura on August 15. She picked up ground from a rearward position at her latest fifth. BUDD SIDEWINDER (4) will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment and is worth thought from his good draw.

OVERVIEW: SMASHED IT (3) is resuming since a third at Mildura in May but he was placed in handy time at a recent Terang trial performance and he should prove hard to beat against this line up. SHES MAGICAL (6) worked very hard to find the lead and was run down on the line when a close second behind Bettor Doo last week. She is widely drawn but is nearing a win against this class. SLOANIE BEL (1) has been placed in both of her starts since resuming and attempted to lead throughout when third behind Just Jimmy last week. She is drawn to lead again and should take catching over the sprint distance. LIVELY JOE (8) ran a better race last week and is a place chance again.
