OVERVIEW: IMON (6) is having his first run from NZ for a high striking stable, and the overseas form whilst without a win looks sound. He’s had one trial into this and won softly. There looks to be a good tempo, but if he’s fit enough can be strong late.
HEZ HARRYWHO (2) has failed his past two as an odds-on favourite but is likely to find the top again and present as the one to run down. LONGTAN VIPER (5) creates interest having his first run for the new stable, and his run last start was’t to bad mixing stride driving into the first turn and recovering to find the line ok. ELIZAJANE (1) led and disappointed last time, but prior was quite good, so is worth keeping safe.

OVERVIEW: OUR MYSTERY BET (1) returns to the front row after some solid runs over the short trip. Racing forward and over the middle trip is key here, as he clearly strikes better the longer the races go. If he can lead or catch the pocket he’ll be in the finish.
BETTORSWEETVICTORY (5) drew poorly last time, but this draw looks more suitable following three good runs all over the short trip, and her chances grow when she’s able to find the top. CLIVES GIRL (4) is always thereabouts in these types of races and maps ok again, she just struggles to win out of turn. MAJOR MAURIE (6) was a good run three back when given a good run, this draw is a little sticky though.

| 8 | 324614 | HEZAFLASHONE Dr: Nathan Jack | Danny Thackeray | Nathan Jack | 2 | $13 | |||
OVERVIEW: PEARL OF PHILTRA (6) is a 3yo filly who was very good on debut, forced to sit parked after doing a power of work from a bad draw on the tight Echuca track where it’s hard to do that. She draws well to press forward again, and if she gets the right run, she’s the one to beat.
DRAXON (5) was a big winner for the new stable last time out, albeit the opposition wasn’t overly strong at Leeton. He raced in decent grade prior, and has shown good gate speed is his career to race in a forward position. If he gets the luck he can measure up. IM BIG BUISNESS (1) finally gets a good draw and can map well. He’s been good his past two and will be in the finish. HELLOVATIME (7) has been very good his past couple and is nearing a win, he just has a tricky draw to overcome.

| 8 | 871305 | DOT BALL Dr: Liam Older | Ross Graham | Liam Older (C) | 3 | $19 | |||
OVERVIEW: MY GREAT EIGHT (5) has been costly to punters his past three, but he hasn’t disgraced himself. He may have to work the way the map presents but is going better than most here.
MYNAMEISRUBY (4) is another who’s burnt the fingers of punters, but she’s always a factor over the mile thanks to her gate speed. She’ll be there at the end, just whether she can find that bit extra. DOT BALL (8) was a winner three back from a better draw, and while her form is a little hard to trust, this race looks suitable. BOSS MAJOR (3) has been ok his past couple, but that is his best form for a long time, so keep safe.

| 7 | 7579s | LUNADIVA Dr: Liam Older | Graham Lyon | Liam Older (C) | 6 | $26 |
OVERVIEW: HELLOVASTORY (4) was a good run last time out when resuming, seemingly hanging on a turn and losing significant ground only to pick himself up and find the line well. If he can improve his manners slightly there’s enough ability there for him to represent value.
WHERE IT BEGAN (2) is still on the green side judging by his recent trials but there has been intent and should have the right fitness. He produced a good 2nd at this track last time in. PARINI (6) after some fair trials was quite good on debut, albeit having all the favours on the pegs, they did go quick time for this class, so is in the thick of it again. STAY ALPHA (5) comes from a good stable, and has trialled ok into this. He can show speed from the draw and map well.

| 7 | 47557s | MI BOW Dr: James Herbertson | Ross Graham | James Herbertson | 15% | 4 | $4.5 |
OVERVIEW: LITTLE MISS VALLEY (3) put together some good efforts last campaign, and her effort last week first up showed she’s nearing a win. She came off the backrow, trotted well only to be outdone along the sprint lane. Added fitness, the draw and the field is in her favour.
FARSTAR (6) has had plenty of chaces, but he’s normally reliably gaited which can carry him a long way here. MI BOW (8) is a 19-start maiden, and is first up with one sound trial and will be popular with Herbertson aboard. SEBS GAL (4) is her own worst enemy with a strong SP profile, she has ability, she just tends to get it wrong under race conditions.
BACK: LITTLE MISS VALLEY (3) – 4 units (win)

OVERVIEW: TREACHEROUSTIMES (6) is a speedy beginner who turned in his best run this preparation when 3rd two back after finding the front only to be nabbed late. This presents as his most suitable assignment in a while and if he can find the top is the one to catch in an even race.
FOUR STARZZZ RUBY (5) is a fast beginner and last time James Herbertson drove her she was a winner. She is first up and likely to benefit from the outing, but this isn’t an overly strong race to test her fitness.
NORTHERN TERROR (9) was a winner three back then dropped out after a decent run subsequently. This is a more suitable race so can improve. ROYLE BLOOD (8) hasn’t done much in two runs back from a break, although didn’t get a lot of room last time. He will get a soft run on the pegs.
