New trots immortals will be lauded in a special Sunday night on TrotsVision, which will reveal six inductees into the Victorian Harness Racing Hall of Fame.

The virtual awards show will stream from 6.10pm this Sunday, airing after the Stawell Cups Day and episode two of The HRV HERO Show, which can be enjoyed from 5.30pm.

Noel Ridge said the Hall of Fame selection committee had narrowed more than 50 extraordinarily worthy nominees down to six inductees, while the celebration will also promote a ninth Hall of Famer to Legend status and reveal a Fan Favourite.

“The Hall of Fame is the ultimate,” Ridge said. “When you look at those in there, these are the legendary people and horses of Victorian trotting

“These are passionate, excellent and unique people who had long careers in harness racing. This year’s inductees are absolute standouts and we have seen this quality in the previous inductees.”

All will be revealed this Sunday night, when Andrew Bensley will host the special TrotsVision event.

The 6.10pm streaming will be repeated with an encore showing at 7.35pm, following on from a terrific day’s racing at Stawell when trackside host Rob Auber and race caller Luke Humphreys oversee the leg of the Trots Country Cups Championship.

And, as mentioned, the fun doesn’t end there, with the night to also feature episode two of The HRV HERO Show.

Bensley and HRV HERO ambassador Kima Frenning return and will be joined for an exclusive chat with former Kiwi now New Jersey reinsman Dexter Dunn, who will share his thoughts on his US success and his amazing connection to Christen Me.

The show will also feature profiles on retrainer Holi Campbell and Mitch Fox, and speak with Heather and Susan Paix from Patchwork Park as part of a new segment HEROS for Homes.

So be sure to schedule in a super Sunday night with TrotsVision.
