Shepparton's outstanding harness racing community has been celebrated as part of tonight's coverage of Night 2 of the SENTrack Inter Dominion, heralding the amazing response of the local club and associated participants.

Floodwaters inundated the area last month and the clean up and challenges continue.

Shepparton Harness Racing Club's Ian McDonald joined TrotsVision host Ryan Phelan as part of the ID22 coverage to share how the local community had rallied and how valuable it was to have the great race series in town tonight.

As part of the TrotsVision coverage of the Inter Dominion heats, Shepparton local and Harness Racing Victoria's Kima Frenning caught up with some of those affected.

That included Aldebaran Park's Duncan McPherson and Melanie Thackerey, who detailed how floodwaters had threatened their property and horses.
