SHEPPARTON 28/11/19

Trial 1: - TITAN BROMAC trailed the leader BLASTAWAY and was able to chip away at the leading margin until grabbing victory in the opening trial. PENNY ANNE settled four back on the markers before moving up without cover at the 600m. She battled away for third in front of HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY, which settled sixth on the outside from the 1100m before being inconvenienced by tiring runners and working home quite nicely late. WALKAMILEINMYSHOES grabbed the one out and one back trail mid-race and finished in front of ATLANTAS, which raced in the death seat, and THEANGRYWIFE (5th markers) was at the tail.

Trial 2: - TRENDY BROMAC settled eighth on the outside and came out three horses wide from the half mile marker before sustaining a strong run to get the prize. BLACKENED was a nice trial effort for second. He settled three back on the markers and finished off boldly when he gained a clear passage so he could be worth following. SCOTLYNN BEACH sat without cover early before pushing forward to lead at the 1800m mark. He battled on well for a close up third. LA PLAYER finished in fourth position after trailing the leader throughout. OUR SUMMER BAY was four back on the inside and defeated ROCKON LOCKSLEY (1-1) and COLARNTIE (1-2). DAYSEEDEE made a move to get up without cover from the 1700m mark but dropped out to finish eighth ahead of CARTER BROMAC, which was last throughout.

BLACKBOOKER: - Blackened

Trial 3: - The nicely bred trotter BUILDER BOB was an impressive trial winner and looks to be very promising when he puts it altogether. He settled sixth on the markers, moved into the death seat at the 800m and rushed away from his rivals in the latter stages. LEXINGTON QUEEN flew out of the gate to lead from barrier five and was able to hold down second in front of BACARDI WOOD, which was able to slot into the one out and one back trail from the 600m mark. KRAZE began quickly and gained the position behind the leader LEXINGTON QUEEN. He finished fourth in front of MILLYS MAGIC, which settled three back on the markers with CLAUDY AN GUS (4 back markers) trotting very roughly in the latter stages of the trial whilst THE RED WARRIOR broke at the start and finished a distant last.

BLACKBOOKER: - Builder Bob

Trial 4: - MAJOR DELICO was able to park in behind the open class trotter SKY PETITE, which was setting up a genuine tempo, and finished off with plenty of momentum to win the trial from CELESTIA, which settled four back on the inside and finished off well from the 600m. SKY PETITE finished third in front of HEADLINE ACT, which raced without cover and eased to be three back on the markers but he did over-race a shade. STARSBYTHEBEACH settled behind the trotter SUPER ANGUS but had to move around him when he was struggling to keep in touch with 1200m remaining. She remained in fifth with SUPER ANGUS finishing a long way back in last position.

Trial 5: - THE TALK trailed the leader and came to the outside approaching the final corner. COOL ROCKING DADDY settled fifth on the markers and moved to the death seat from the 700m mark. He made up good ground in the back straight but couldn’t run past THE TALK in the run to the finish. IM SCORCHING enjoyed a nice run on the markers and looked to be struggling a long way out but he lifted in the latter stages to finish in third. DONTRATTLEHISCAGE showed good gate speed to lead but he raced very greenly and wanted to pull hard mid-race. He finished fourth in front of EL BANCO, which settled three back on the inside. NANANELLIE raced without cover early and was restrained to second last. She beat home SHEEZABAY, which settled last and remained in that position.

CRANBOURNE 30/11/19

Trial 1: - ICANMOTOR (Somebeachsomewhere – Blue Seelster 1.56.2, $54,905) led out then took cover at the bell before running over the top of his rivals to win comfortably. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (Heston Blue Chip – Illawon Philomena) settled three back on the markers and ran into second position ahead of RISQUE RHONDA, which finished off nicely from fifth on the markers and making a run from the 700m. MIDNIGHT RATTLER was four back on the markers throughout and finished fourth ahead of CASINO BARRY, which raced without cover before pushing forward to find the lead at the bell.

Trial 2: - ALLIYAHS CHOICE enjoyed a lovely trail behind the leader throughout and was able to run home well and get the prize from a game MY SUPERANNUATION. He broke in the score up, missed the start by 20m and finished off strongly. PEPE OLE began very quickly to find the lead and battled into third in front of LADY MAJESTIC, which dropped off a little from five back on the markers approaching the home turn but picked up in the straight. TSOLAKIS finished fifth after racing without cover throughout and YOUNEEDABITOFMUSCLE came in at the tail of the field after breaking stride at the mile marker.

Trial 3: - HAIR RAZOR began quickly to find the lead and completely dominated the trial, winning by a large margin. SIR FORTUNE settled down sixth on the markers and moved into the one out and one back trail when GEE HEE ROCKS moved up to sit without cover at the bell. He ran into a distant second with ILLAWONG LORD, which raced five back on the markers, coming in third position. IT’S THE EMBLEM was able to hold down fourth after trailing the leader just in front of GEE HEE ROCKS. CHARISMA KING came in last after being three back on the markers throughout.

Trial 4: - ELTEEARR possesses a good turn of speed and came from three back on the inside to finish off well and defeat ARGGGHHH, which trailed the leader, moved up without cover from the 600m and hit the lead before the turn. PADDY MACH ran home fairly well by using an inside run from last to pick up third and ROYAL BETTOR dropped out to finish last after setting the speed.

WARNNAMBOOL 01/12/19

Trial 1: - DIAMOND WES struck trouble when resuming from a break and took out the opening trial on the program in front of DIXIE CLARE, which hasn’t raced since August 2018. I STAND ALONE (Danny Bouchea – Diamond Insitu), the younger half brother to DIAMOND WES ran in last of the three runners.

Trial 2: - The experienced mare FIRE OFFICIAL took out the second trial from the qualifier PRINCE OF PIRATES (Western Edition – Sparksrgunnafly 2.11.5, $788) with MAJOR MAD, a maiden from eight starts and recently resumed racing at Mount Gambier finishing last of the three runners.

MILDURA 01/12/19

Trial 1: - WICKED AZZ is a former Stephen Duffy trained filly that recently joined trainer Luke Watson. She won the opening trial from WATCHMEDANCE, which has been trialling better than she has been going at the races, with CELEBRITA finishing in third position. The Jeffrey Gadsden trained qualifier MUSTANG MAX (Village Jolt – Highview Hanover 2.3.3, $20,285) finished fourth ahead of RAINBEACHGIRL with GOOD TUBAKEE running in last of the six runners.

Trial 2: - BO CARSON trailed the leader ZIVA (Shadow Play – I’m Living The Dream 1.57.4, $103,431) throughout and launched a winning claim from the 400m mark. He looked sharp going to the line and ZIVA continued her good trial form by finishing second. ART OF OZTREOS settled one out and two back and worked into a distant third in front of SHE SAID YES, which pushed forward to race without cover in the early stages of the event. MISS SUGARANSPICE raced one out and one back and finished fifth ahead of the unraced performer ARTISTICBUTNAUGHTY (Artistic Fella – Naughty Maree 2.6.1, $5,475) (1-3) and WEMEN ALBY yielded ground a long way from home from five back on the markers.

Trial 3: - RENAISSANCE ART enjoyed a nice trail behind the leader SYSTAMATIC and was just able to get the better of him late to win by a narrow margin. CLASSIC ARC gained a one out and one back trail and battled into third ahead of NEVAEVABEND, which trailed him throughout. NO EMOTION (Grinfromeartoear – Sokysokylala 2.3.6, $1,859) settled fifth on the markers and beat home HES A MODERN BOY (Modern Art – Washingtonsfirstlady 1.58.9, $31,300), which raced without cover and was yielding ground from the half mile marker.

Trial 4: - AUGUSTUS JACK was a strong winner of the last trial. He had a decent crack at trying to get across the leader PENNY SNATCHER early but couldn’t get to the markers and had to be restrained in behind. He was driven aggressively in the latter stages and got over the top of PENNY SNATCHER in the straight. SMYNANNA MICKEY galloped at the start and lost approximately 25m so she was last of the three runners throughout.

MARYBOROUGH 01/12/19

Trial 1: - IDEAL WORLD is a metropolitan class pacer and was taking on the trotters so he appeared to be well placed. He finished quickly from last and careered home to win in reasonable time. SUNDONS COURAGE zoomed to the front and battled on well after setting a genuine tempo throughout. VARIANCE trailed the leader and picked up a couple of metres on SUNDONS COURAGE late while DOWN UNDER BARKERS finished last after settling three back on the markers.

Trial 2: - GOODTIME GRACE showed very good gate speed to lead and dashed well clear in the back straight. She was getting tired late but was able to hold on and win. DYNAMITE DOZER settled four back on the markers and charged into second position. He probably would have won in a couple more strides and RIVER BOSS was third after racing roughly in the score up, settling three back on the inside and moving to the death seat at the 400m. STAR PUPIL (Alta Christiano – Lady Dynamo) trailed the leader and dropped out to be last of the four runners home.

Trial 3: - BONAVISTA BOY (Bonavista Bay – Bianca Jasper 1.59.2, $22,758) showed very good gate speed to lead and was able to fight off a challenge from CALYPSO MISTRESS on the home turn to draw away and win by over a length. CALYPSO MISTRESS moved up without cover from fourth at the 800m mark and just couldn’t sustain the run in the latter stages. She finished second in front of LORIMERLAGG, which was three back on the markers throughout. GOODTIME MARIAH (Shadyshark Hanover – Kiss And Grin) trailed the leader and finished in fourth position ahead of BEACH REACTOR, which broke after the start and was tailed off from the 1400m mark.

Trial 4: - ALDEBARAN LEROY continued his extremely good trial form by winning over VICTREE HILL (Trixton – Sweet Pretense). He settled midfield in the running lane and zipped around the field to lead at the mile marker. VICTREE HILL was a gallant second and showed the ability to be able to win races. He left the one out and one back position at the bell to make a forward move, poured on the pressure to ALDEBARAN LEROY and broke stride under pressure just near the line. SURBITON PRETENDER led out then took a trail for third with SPEEDWAY QUEEN in fourth after racing without cover until finding the one out and one back trail at the bell. QUAKER MAKER (Quaker Jet – Gay Truscott) was last on the outside most of the way and picked up PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN (Lead/ trailed leader) and CHER AMI (5 back markers) in the latter stages.

BLACKBOOKER: - Victree Hill

Trial 5: - PEYTON PRINCESS (Sportswriter – Lady Peyton 1.55.5, $86,934) showed very good acceleration to lead comfortably and never appeared to be in any danger of defeat. HARPER LEE settled five back on the markers and moved up without cover from the 800m mark to finish second with ACES JETT (Bettors Delight – Donna Rosso) finishing in third after trailing the leader throughout. CREDON STAR settled down in fourth position before gaining a one out and one back trail and ended up finishing fourth head of WARP SENSA HUMA, which tired from the 500m after racing three back on the markers throughout.

Trial 6: - SURBITON ARMISTICE was able to step to the front from the standing start and amble around to win comfortably but in slow time. ORPHAN CODY (Grinfromeartoear – Can Y Gwent 1.59.8, $21,055) trailed the leader throughout and finished second with STRAPPERSORPHAN being last of the three runners.

KYABRAM 01/12/19

Trial 1: - BONNY TAYLAH (All Speed Hanover – Bonny Spur) was able to take out the first of two trials over STARZZZOFMICHAEL with SPIDER DUNBAR, which hasn’t raced since June 2017, finishing in third position. OUR ART WORK (Artiscape – Our Poppi Girl) finished last of the four runners.

Trial 2: - WINGING GRIN (Grinfromeartoear – Winging It) was successful over the recent Albury winner SHADOW ASSASSIN with SHEEZABAY (Alta Christiano – Pacific Made), an unraced mare for trainer Darryl Hill finishing last of the three runners.

BENDIGO 01/12/19

Trial 1: - ZAMBA DEVILLE began with her usual brilliance and was able to find the lead with ARRESTED getting into the trail after galloping momentarily at the start. ARRESTED was able to prove superior over the final 300m and took out the trial with ZAMBA DEVILLE just holding down second in front of SHOWMETHECASH (Ready Cash – Showmethemaori), which made up ground late from three back on the markers. THE LAST SON (Majestic Son – Shine On Alisha $34,001) finished last of the four runners after galloping away from the standing start.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.1             Final Half: - 60.2               Margins: - 7m, 1m

Trial 2: - SAVIOUR CLARE began very quickly to find the front and ran along at an even tempo. She had a good kick left at the finish and drew clear to win. REGRETABLE settled three back on the inside before moving into the one out and one back trail behind HEZA BRAXTON at the bell. She worked into a distant second with FLOODS ROAD finishing nicely from four back on the markers to finish third. VILLAGE FLING (Fling It – Bonnie Cheval) dropped back to be fourth after trailing the leader but she was the only unraced horse competing in the event. HEZA BRAXTON moved up without cover, had a brief crack at the leader at the bell then galloped when a beaten horse with 400m remaining and came in at the tail of the field.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.1             Final Half: - 59.2               Margins: - 12m, 1m

Trial 3: - RED HOT TOOTH burned to the front in the early stages and continued to run along at a genuine tempo. She was extremely impressive and demolished her two other rivals by 60m in very quick time. KHEIRON trailed RED HOT TOOTH and couldn’t follow in the last lap. He finished nicely ahead of LAW LEGEND, which was last throughout.

BLACKBOOKER: - Red Hot Tooth

Trial 4: - IM NO PUMPKIN settled at the tail of the field before moving into the one out and one back trail. She sprinted home nicely in a handy final half to win the trial comfortably. GRACIES SHADOW settled five back on the inside and moved into the one out and two back position before finishing off well for second. COSTLY MISTAKE set the speed and finished third ahead of ROCKSLIDE (A Rocknroll Dance – Soky Sue), which did a lot wrong but showed some promise. He hung in and broke stride early, settled down last then moved up without cover from the 1500m mark. He raced very erratically in the straight so he does have a bit to learn. OUTA THE BLUE (Heston Blue Chip – Birds of a Feather 2.5.3, $5,673) is a juvenile filly for trainer Kylie Linsell, which finished fifth after settling four back on the markers. KIDWITHAGRIN was three back on the markers and got ahead of AMERICAN SPIDER, which trailed the leader, for sixth and seventh positions.

Trial 5: - COMMANDANTE led comfortably and set up a very slow tempo mid-race so he had a good kick left at the finish. He defeated ALDEBARAN JETHRO (Andover Hall – Bromac Aldebaran), which got into the position behind the leader before the first turn. ALDEBARAN PHOEBE (Yield Boko – Aldebaran Peggy) finished third after being three back on the markers throughout and ALDEBARAN STEVIE (Yield Boko – Im Sonialeelee 2.7.7, $7,150) was tailed off throughout after galloping at the start.

Trial 6: - NEANGER GUY began brilliantly to find the lead over VAN NIEKERK (Net Ten Eom – Rosie Lindenny) in the early stages. VAN NIEKERK moved up without cover from the 800m mark and tried to challenge but NEANGER GUY fought on too strongly in the straight. The pair drew well clear at the end with HIGHCHAIR (Julius Caesar – Diamonds Inthedark) from three back on the markers finishing in third. NEVER TOO OLD (Julius Caesar – Miss Bonton 2.1.7, $37,916) was last of the four runners throughout.

Trial 7: - TURTLE settled four back on the markers before angling into the one out and one back trail and was able to get up to win in a blanket finish. GET SMART MAX battled on well for second after racing in the death seat throughout and LION HEART, which burrowed through to lead early and set the pace, was in third. LOLA DEVEREAUX was shooting through along the sprint lane in the latter stages and just missed out with DARK CLOUD being last after being three back on the markers throughout.

Trial 8: - KOTARE MAHDI pulled very hard in the lead but was able to take out the final trial from DIVINE STATE, which trailed him throughout. ISNTSHEJUST was last of the five runners and moved up without cover from the 500m mark. She finished third in front of OUR DOREEN DAYS (4 back on the markers) and CHEVAL CHARETTE (3 back markers).

WANGARATTA 02/12/19

Trial 1: - GET ME OUTTA HERE was able to win the first trial narrowly over SAMMARI, which has been a regular at the trials over the past month. AMELIA WEALTH (Auckland Reactor – Life Savings 1.57.9, $33,115) is nicely bred filly for trainer Peter Romero and finished third ahead of the juvenile pacer ULTIMATE HUGHEY (Sunshine Beach – Goodtime Annabella 1.59.7, $13,120). SCORCHA (Courage Under Fire – Under The Mattress, 1.58.0, $105,711), a brother to the champion pacer Smolda (1.50.6, $2,415,738) and from the same family as AMELIA WEALTH, finished at the tail of the field.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.6             Final Half: - 61.1               Margins: - Head, 1m

Trial 2: - BLACK NO SUGAR hasn’t started since April and recorded reasonable time in his narrow victory over MISS RIXON. HARRYS DELIGHT and RENWAY REACTOR (Auckland Reactor – Aspire To Glory) were a close up third and fourth with MILLION DOLLAR ART being last of the five runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.9             Final Half: - 61.3               Margins: - Head, 1m

Trial 3: - The speedy pacer HARRY TURBO, a winner of seven races, took out the final trial over LUVTOO by a narrow margin with close finishes being the pattern of the Wangaratta trials. LONDON LADY finished in third position, two metres ahead of HIGHMORALGROUND with MYBOYMYBOY running in last of the five runners.

ARARAT 02/12/19

Trial 1: - COCONUT CUTIE (Western Terror – Sweet Lucy Brown 2.1.5, $6,943) won the opening trial for the juveniles with Peter Manning training all five runners. PET ROCK PENNY (Pet Rock – Texan Cheergirl) finished a close up second and EVA MATEO (Alta Christiano – Lady Lucy Lou $10,313) was a distance away in third position. YOUKNOWWHAT (Shadow Play – Think Ucan Dance) finished fourth, approximately two lengths ahead of LORD COURT (Artistic Fella – Westice Village 2.3.9, $9,009).

Mile Rate: - 2.16.3           Final Half: - 64.5               Margins: - Neck, 12m

Trial 2: - DUBLIN CHUBB hasn’t been on his best behaviour this season but he is very good when he puts it altogether and he defeated the handy pacer SHADY AZZ with GHANASAYA finishing in third position. GLENAVRIL GIRL came in a large distance away in fourth position.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.6             Final Half: - 58.9               Margins: - Neck, 6m

Trial 3: - GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE has been freshened since his last run in October and he is building up a nice record. He was able to win the trial very comfortably over STYLISH GEM, which was well clear of PARIS SCENE in third. FIFTYSHADES OF CRESCO (Jet Laag – It’s Game On 1.58.1, $29,278) and MOLON LAVE (Fling It – Atego Lilly, 2.3.0, $48,992) were the only two unraced performers in the trial and they were the last two across the line.

Trial 4: - REGARDLESS is a tough pacer for trainer Aaron Dunn that hasn’t raced since a fourth at Mildura in June and was able to take out the final trial over DUBLIN STREET. FLAMING LUCKY wasn’t too far away in third position and finished well clear of STRAIGHT UP at the finish.

GEELONG 03/12/19

Trial 1: - THE HONOURS is a former New Zealand trotter, which had one start at Pinjarra in Western Australia prior to joining trainer Brent Lilley. He led throughout and won the standing start trial easily. CELTIC CASH galloped away and settled a clear last of the five runners prior to finishing strongly in the last 200m to record an eye-catching second. ARAIGNEE FLAIR came from four back on the markers and finished third ahead of SPECIAL INTEREST (Yankee Spider – Dream Interest), which trailed the leader throughout. TANISHAS DREAM (Conch Deville – Gina Dawn) was three back on the markers throughout and finished at the tail of the field.

BLACKBOOKER: - Celtic Cash

Trial 2: - ILLAWONG LUNA stepped away best from the standing start to lead comfortably from IM NOTTA TROTTER and BULLION LADY settled last of the three runners. IM NOTTA TROTTER came to the outside straightening for home and proved too good in the straight. BULLION LADY went to the line hard held and finished second while ILLAWONG LUNA dropped back into third after hanging down into the sprint lane over the latter stages.

Mile Rate: - 2.7.9             Final Half: - 61.3               Margins: - 4m, 2m

Trial 3: - TREACHEROUS SAINT (Captaintreacherous – Saint Theory 2.1.8, $14,104) pushed forward to find the lead shortly after the start and wanted to switch off at various occasions. SPORTS WRACK dropped in behind the leader to be second with GOODTIME MACH (Mach Three – Bella Joy 1.53.8, $109,849) three back on the markers in third. GOODTIME MACH moved up without cover and tried to pursue with 500m remaining. TREACHEROUS SAINT led into the straight but SPORTS WRACK came to the outside and did a little the better for the juvenile pacer in the straight. GOODTIME MACH took a while to hit top gear but finished hard late into a close third and ANDREW SWAGGER (Artistic Fella – My Sign 1.58.5, $25,625) was last throughout, galloping with 300m remaining.

Trial 4: - CODE BAILEY was able to stroll to the front shortly after the start and extended beautifully in the last lap to win by a large margin and post fast time. MASTER MOONLITE settled three back on the inside and was able to work past CORRINYAH CONMAN, which trailed the leader, in the final circuit. MASTER MOONLITE wasn’t overly extended in the latter stages of the trial. JACKS COMMAND was last of the four runners throughout.

Trial 5: - RED WHITE AN BLOOM (Orlando Vici – Moyabamba 1.59.3, $83,242) was very impressive at a Melton trial a week earlier and was able to win at Geelong after settling three back on the markers. He stuck to the inside all of the way and used the sprint lane in the straight. The winning margin was only a nose but he went to the line under a vice like grip. ALDEBARAN STEVIE backed up quickly after galloping at the Bendigo trials and finished a close second after trailing the leader throughout. The New Zealand bred trotter SON OF A WHIZZ, which had two starts in Western Australia, led and finished in third position. FLOATING MOUNTAIN settled down four back on the markers and moved to the outside approaching the home turn. He broke stride when making ground and lost his chance. SAVVY KYVALLEY (Andover Hall – Aldebaran Dream 2.3.4, $53,200) galloped in the score up and AVIMORE broke at the start and they were second last and last respectively.

Trial 6: - JILLIBY GYPSY trailed the leader MALIBU JACK and came to the outside on the home turn. The leader ran along at a genuine tempo early and they were all getting tired but JILLIBY GYPSY was able to do best. MALIBU JACK (Grinfromeartoear – Classic Malibu 1.59.4, $72,665) just held down second in front of TREVEAN, which settled down four back on the markers and moved up without cover at the 1200m mark. LUVERBOY followed TREVEAN throughout and ended up being in the one out and one back trail. WIL HE STAR settled three back on the markers and finished fifth with THE SYSTEM RED yielding ground from the half mile marker and being last throughout.

Trial 7: - The field of nine raced in single file throughout the early stages of the trial with SAVE THE GAME setting the speed. KEAYANG BLINKY trailed the speed and came to the outside with 500m remaining. He hit the lead on the turn and was challenged by JILLIBY LORENZO but kicked back strongly to win. JILLIBY LORENZO settled six back on the markers and moved to the outside in the back straight on the final occasion. He sustained a long run and just failed but both he and the winner had something in reserve. BETTER EXCLUSIVE settled in seventh position and sprinted with JILLIBY LORENZO initially but lost his back in the home straight. He was able to finish third in front of SAVE THE GAME. WARPIE settled down three back on the markers and finished fifth in front of OUR SUMMER WIND (8 back pegs), ZALTA (4 back markers), LUVHAVINFUN (last the markers) and the trotter AUNTIE POPPY (5 back markers) came in last of the nine runners.

Trial 8: - SOEXTRA (Bettors delight – Lagoon Lady 1.57.3, $203,183) has had numerous trials leading up to his debut and was able to lead throughout and score narrowly from THE BIG END OFTOWN (Heston Blue Chip – Apple of my Eye 2.1.1, $16,325), which stormed home out wide late from three back on the markers. GOODTIME FLOYD (Somebeachsomewhere – Bella Joy 1.53.8, $109,849) finished a close up third after trailing the leader in front of LETS GO EXCLUSIVE, which worked hard without cover. WATCHFORTHEEMOTE (Courage Under Fire – Lewisienna Jo 1.57.3, $46,081) settled four back on the markers and beat home YERING BROMAC (Roll With Joe – Seshny Bromac 1.53.9, $124,554), which galloped early then found the one out and one back trail.

Trial 9: - KEAYANG IGNITE took advantage of a fast tempo in the early stages to take out the final trial. He settled at the back of the pack behind ACCOUNT CLOSED and was able to round up the tiring leaders in the latter stages. JILLIBY BULLDOG raced out three horses wide for over a lap and rolled to the top at the half mile marker. He kicked on strongly after doing all of the work in the run. MONTPELLIER trailed the leader MATTIES BACK and was dragged back by that tiring runner just past the bell. She picked up to finish third in front of ACCOUNT CLOSED, which was one out and one back for the first lap then without cover for second time around. FLING IT RAINBOW kicked up to keep the death seat in the early stages but tired as did the early leader MATTIES BACK (Feng Shuis Image – Forgetfulljane).

Trial 1: - The smart filly ARTEMEDE was able to lead comfortably in the opening trial and cut loose in the final lap running a last half of 56.5 seconds. MINUSCULE (Bettors Delight – Our Petite Soeur 1.57.6, $73,930) settled last of the three runners and was able to run into second when GEE SMITH (Sportswriter – Our Burning Desire 1.55.9, $81,250) galloped on the home turn.

Trial 2: - ALWAYS FAST showed good gate speed to lead comfortably and like the first winner Artemede, was able to open up in the last circuit and record a big victory. TIGER STORM trailed the leader throughout and finished second in front of LIZZADRO, which was able to go around SHELDON (3 back markers) in the latter stages.

Trial 3: - DEEDENUTO ambled to the lead in the early stages with FOURBIGMEN taking cover in behind and ALL A BREEZE settled last of the three. FOURBIGMEN showed good speed at the finish to pick up DEEDENUTO and ALL A BREEZE held his ground over the latter stages.

Trial 4: - DEMON DELIGHT settled behind the leader and produced a brilliant turn of speed at the end of the trial to win very impressively. LIFTNTORQUE came from last to pick up second and BEACH GARDEN, which is now being prepared by trainer Emma Stewart, led and faded into third position.
