Dreams come true for Lisa Miles at Tabcorp Park Melton on Saturday night when her tried and trusted trotter delivered her 500th win as a trainer.

In her 23rd season, Miles brought up the landmark when Tiavons Dream saluted in the Seelite Windows and Doors Winter Trotters Cup heat, claiming the bulk of the $16,000 prizemoney with her seven-year-old Dream Vacation gelding's last-to-first victory.

"It was terrific actually and I got some very good advice from my mum," Miles told Trots Vision post-race. "She was watching the races earlier and said, 'they are coming from behind tonight'. I just kept that in the back of our head. From (gate) seven there wasn't much else we could do and he's gone super. I'm rapt."

The run caught the eye of trots scribe Len Baker, who penned his thoughts on the victory for thetrots.com.au:

Restrained back off the gate from outside the front line, Tiavons Dream settled last on the markers as All Lit Up crossed to lead from gate three. Taken to the extreme outside of the track on the final bend Tiavons Dream produced a powerful finish to record a 1.5 metre victory. He won in a rate of 1:59.1 from Big Jack Hammer, who trailed the pacemaker using the sprint lane after Our Twentyten (one/one) had dashed to the front on turning and look a winner before finishing third 2.7 metres away.

Kingdom Come won the night's other Winter Trotters Cup heat, saluting by 3.3m from Rock Tonight, with Savannah Jay Jay and favourite Une Belle Allure filling out the placings.

They will all come together in the July 21 final back at Tabcorp Park Melton, when connections will chase a slice of the $30,000 prize.

Miles is confident her seven-year-old will give his all.

"He just keeps on keeping on - he's one of those horses that he is just so honest and just really really good to us."
